But now that Izanami has no effect on Kabuto, we can go back to the original problem,
visual genjutsu has NO EFFECT on kabuto.
His reaction time is on par with Itachi's if not better.

Amaterasu is dodged by simply going underground. Kabuto would be able to sense the pressure and see the blood from Itachi's eyes.
Tsukoyomi is Null
Susanoo..lol, oh susanoo..Totsuka is dodge just like susanoo's arrow, white dragon is enough to weaken itachi's susanoo. Inorganic transformation would work well too.

As we all know, Itachi's only choice would be to rely on either amaterasu or Susanoo. Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, firestyle would all be meaningless.
And we all know Itachi cannot just spam amaterasu, nor can he sit and spamm susanoo. Kabuto can simply outlast Itachi. as he is constantly taking in natural energy so he will never tire.

This is such a highly debatable thread considering that during their fight, Itachi had an edo body, needed to protect Sasuke, and also needed to keep Kabuto alive. However, I agree that Kabuto beats Itachi. It just really doesn't seem like Itachi has a counter to the White Dragon Genjutsu and that alone creates enough of an opening for Kabuto to win the battle.

You don't seem to understand genjutsu. after Kabuto is in, it will take him a while to realise. Then, he can break out. However, thats plenty time to kill Kabuto.

Anyway, Itachi was holding back and Kabuto's edo's are weaker than normal, so he wasn't at his full power then anyway.

All edo's of note realize they cannot die and regen, this allows them to be more...bold in their movements. I have no more to add that hasn't been said here.
