It depends on how the summons are used.If the user is forcefully controlling them against their will then that can be considered a solo.

Beating someone by yourself without even using summoning jutsu. This is a true solo. Option 1 isn't because you "summon", you don't "create" them. If I beat you up and am about to lose but "call" a friend that helps me beating your ass... have I solo'd you? Lel
