The Aburame Clan are a set of ninjas from the Land of Fire. They utilize a special set of insects called Destruction Bugs to aid them in combat. The insects in question are semi sentient creatures that live with their host in a symbiotic relationship. By allowing the insects a home and food source being chakra, the user can control the insects to fight on their behalf. The Aburame then controls the swarm to take on various forms such as limbs, constructs etc. The bugs themselves are also able to absorb chakra and sense it.So let's get straight to it. Tell me about the aburame abilities, canon-wise.
Alright so for the first technique the user basically creates a connection between themselves and their insects. This allows the user to hear and see what their insects does. Pros? Perfect for NW spying, so ig you want to send a bug to investigate somewhere without going there yourself you can use this. Con? Its not really useful in battle at all times but can provide some coverage.Correct. Similarly we have seen other ninja use other insects such as bees (Kamizuri iirc).
On top of this we have seen several different type of Aburame within the clan. The most notible was Toroi who had nanoscopic bugs which basically acted like a virus/bacteria once touching an opponent. One could reason that we disnt see them used as flying is that because theyre so small, simple small breezes wpuld blow them away.

This drains chakra twice as much as the average technique.

description: After performing the required hand seals ( Ox > Dog > Bird > Ram ) the user will increase the speed of his/her insects' development. As the user's body is already a hive of sorts for the insects, the user will encase himself in an actual cocoon to further aid the insects. This is an extremely useful move for Aburame clan members, since their attacks mainly focus on the usage of bugs. However, using this in the midst of a battle can be potentially dangerous as it leaves the user static and vulnerable. This allows bug techniques to temporarily acquire one of the three: Elemental strength against a particular element; Double the chakra stolen upon contact; or decrease the cost of Bug Techniques by half, with the same efficiency.
Note: Effects last for 5 turns.

This confuses sensor-type ninjas' chakra-sensing ability, as the insects' irregular distribution and large grouping of the bugs result in the creation of numerous 'false images', making it more difficult to distinguish the user's exact and actual location.

Description: Chrisallys is a variant of the Human Cocoon Technique, where the user produces silk to create a large hanging cocoon around oneself. This technique is considered a more hands on approach and malleable application of that concept, shooting tendrils of silk from one's hand or any other part of the body, which can be used to grapple or wrap around an opponent. With one one-handed handseal, the user is able to summon either a coating of small needles or papertags, while the tendrils are being shot from the other hand.
Note: Requires the user to wait 1 turn in between usages.
