Whenever a new child is born the baby are offere by the parents to a special breed of insects as nest in which they live under their host's skin. And the insects will live in symbiosis from then on and because of this the clan members are characterised by their use of insects as weapons.
These types of insects suck on chakra so they are quite deadly to other shinobi's.
The insects and the aburame clan are quite beneficial to each other in the sense that the hosts grant the insects shelter by allowing them live in his body and also allows them to feed off their chakra and in return the insects allows the host to give them commands and use them for making justus by making handseals or chakra conversions.
The unique trait of the aburame clan is that they cover their eyes with dark glasses and their clothes cover almost all the path of their body.
Also to set an attack on an opponent, the aburame user will place a female bug on the opponent and the other male bugs in the surrounding will track the female bug on the opponent and start to multiply and in a few minutes thousands of bugs will be found on the opponent.

Shino is one of the members of the aburame clan and he puts his talent of bugs into use in the team kurenai.
In the anime, shino grew alongside torune as his family put him under the guardianship when torune's father(shikuro aburame) passed away.
Under the guardiance of torune, shino saw torune as an elder brother and they loved each other to the extent that torune revealed his new breed of microscopic insects to shino.
One day danzo approached the two aburame in order to recruit a young member into the secret-technique clan using root when danzo was able to do so, at first he was interested in shino to join but so that shino would not suffer lonliness, torune offered himself.
Personality
Shino has been a calm, collocted, solitary and mysterious person since his childhood. He has never showed any emotions rather he congratulates his team mates on a victorious mission and also expects them to do so to him. When naruto saw him in part II and wasnt able to recognize him while naruto recognised kiba and hinata he was angry and still holds the grudge till of present.
Despite occasionally arguing with Kiba, Shino has a very strong sense of connection with his team-mates and allies, first seen when he regretted being unavailable and therefore unable to help with retrieving Sasuke Uchiha. From that point onwards, he resolved to work on his teamwork skills with Kiba and Hinata. He even helped Hinata to improve her abilities, and is one of the few people, besides Naruto, who openly professes confidence in her. The fruits of his efforts are seen in the anime, where Shino was able to carry out a mission successfully while also keeping others safe. He also proves to be able to understand his team-mates' inner workings, sensing when the slightest of things is wrong with either of them. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, he also went out of his way to keep his team-mate's chakra flow active through the use of his insects.

Breath in and out, feel the dirty cave around you and try to connect with the bugs that are hidden in this cave. Somehow radiate your chakra through the whole cave to attract them in a valid manner. Keep concentrating and remember to breath in and out correctly, stay focused and just start thinking of dirty insects, irritating dirty insects that do bother you but this time will assist you against several enemies that you will face in the future.

As his sensei talks shino starts to get a little confident and thinks this is gonna be irritating but i just have to do it then he follows his sensei's instructions and sits at the centre of the cave, starting to breathe in and out gently and accurately and he concentrates further and try to connect with the dirty insects that are lurking around the cave by spreading his chakra around the cave and using his chakra to lure the insects towards his direction still breathing in and out gently and correctly he opened his eyes slowly and was amazed as he saw the dirty insects come towards his direction then he says with joy i think i did it sensei

Alright, good job. Now let's proceed. Try to seek some attention from the bugs so they stick to your body, somehow let them attach to your clothes and skin and insert your chakra in them. First, a few will appear to see how much you can insert your chakra in. Once you do, they're yours so that you'll be capable of controlling them on whatever they do as long as you control them in a good manner. It's quite easy. Let's start with a few instead of allot before they attack you. Good, keep on breathing in and out as you do this, do not scare the bugs and try to become one with them by inserting your chakra.

As his sensei finish talking he says alright sensei, lets do this then he close his eyes and starts to breathe in and out gently and correctly the he tries to connect with some of the bugs in the cave by sending his chakra to attract them towards him and as a few bugs approach him, he concentrates further and releases even much greater chakra to the bugs who starts to attach to his body at first shino starts to feel disgusted then he shuns off his feelings and releases greater chakra to enable have full control over the few bugs the he opens his eyes slowly to see the bugs who were already on his body and says i think i did it sensei?
