Aburame and Genjutsu

Insects are immune to genjutsu.
Would they be able to free the Aburame from genjutsu like a bijou can do for a jinchuriki?

Mm no, I don't think so. To free a person from genjutsu, you need to inject a different wave of chakra into them to create a disturbance; the insects feed on the individual's chakra, so they'd just be injecting the same chakra.

It's a good theory though -- I suppose if you use someone else's insects, yes?

I don't know is it possible or not since i haven't seen any aburame falling for genjutsu but i believe it can be possible cuz insects feed on their chakra not they mix up their own chakra with the person, so it might be possible

All beings that have chakra are suceptable to Genjutsu , as genjutsu works by causing a disturbance in the chakra system as stated in the manga,

Also , have you forgotten that genjutsu works through the 5 senses , even animals are succeptibale to them if they have chakra , and since insects do have chakra , they are succestible to genjutsu

I didn't expect that personally , since they tend to devour chakra and sensory types can percieve insects , i kinda assume they had chakra

I am uncertain about this topic.

The insects do feed of the users chakra, but that doesnt have to mean that they have the same chakra or same chakra signature.

They can emit the users chakra signature though, because they feed on it..

Can they emit that chakra signature too?
Do they have a chakra signature of their own?

No problem.
Insects do have chakra though (as I understood), it is just that the brainstructure is different from other animals and humans, which makes genjutsu not affect them.

I think that part was filler though since I don't recall it in the manga.

OT: I doubt insects can snap their owner out of genjutsu since they aren't intelligent enough, if it's someone else's insects it's not really different from someone simply pouring their chakra into the victim (like Sakura and Chiyo did to Naruto).
