I don't know if her powers allow her to regenerate body parts or just heal them. If Zoro took a blade to the eye then his eye isn't there anymore.

I can imagine that Mansherry can restore bad eyesight when she has an eye to heal
but she can't grow back an eye when there is just an empty socket.

For me it's less about opening the eye granting. Power up and more about he will open the eye when he uses some sort of ability like asura and is just another visual aid for us

it will be either like that or just closed for night vision. also may be like kenpachi a handicap and if you are strong enough to make him use both.
