Hey guys just wanted to hear your thoughts about Tobi's jutsu. Now that more about it has been revealed, I've thought of possible plot holes.. or it could be just Tobi's plain stupidity... or cunning!... Here's what I mean.
In the last chapter [597] it has been revealed that Tobi does NOT really pass through objects, but instead, simply teleports a part of his body to completely dodge an attack. However, if that were the case, why would he need to stop his attacks at the same time too?
[See Naruto Ch.475 p.04] << in that page, he was just about to suck Fuu in, but had to PASS THROUGH his face instead because apparently if he didn't, he would have been hit by Torune's Kunai.
heres another example.
[See Naruto Ch.566 p.13] In that page, Tobi could have sucked Naruto in, or atleast touched him, but had to again, "seemingly dematerialize" too avoid Kakashi and Gai from hitting him.
If his jutsu is all about simply sending a part of himself away from reality, instead of actually dematerializing, then that means that he can attack[with a part of himself thats not sent away] and defend a part of his body [that has been sent away] at the same time right? why did he have to use it both on his
attacks and defense? Wouldn't it have been easier if he evaded but still continued the attack? Any thoughts? Does anyone agree or even get what Im saying? Haha!
Now I understand that he could have been just really cunning. Maybe he intentionally wanted to mislead Fuu, Terune, Danzou and everyone else about his technique being a Dematerialization jutsu and a Teleportation Jutsu -- 2 seperate jutsu's. In the Fuu and Terune battle, that was understable.
But in the Naruto battle's case, I think going on with his possible "facade" was absurd. That could have been a rare opportunity to finally capture the 9 tails, why didnt he take that? instead he sent away, both his body, that was going to get hit by Kakashi and Gai, and his hand which could have finally sucked Naruto in...
Soo what do you think guy's ? Could this be an honest mistake by Mr. Kishi?, just a manifestation of Tobi's extreme cunning? or just Tobi's plain stupidy? HAHAHAHA! please comment! I seriously want to hear everyone's thoughts!
PS. anyone noticed that Kakashi's Kamui damages a person when he send parts of that person away [seen when he destroyed Deidara's arm] but Tobi, turns out that he has been using it all the time but was never damaged by it.
Possible Explanation
-using Kamui on oneself does not deal damage
-Tobi's body is special. Well we know he got a zetsu like body; or
-simply because Tobi's kamui is more refined and masterd than Kakashi's.
Pss. Sorry I couldnt post pictures or links, because this is my first post here.
