This may sound far-fetched but what are the chances that that at some point it will turn out to be mitsuki,it can't be coincidence that he looks like a child version of toneri otsutsuki,not just that but in the synopsis of the new movie it mentions about mitsuki being mysterious which fuels my belief even more that he is an otsutsuki a.k.a a relation to kaguya also if this turns out to be true isn't it strange how he just happens to be a team mate of the bolt and sarada,both who are the children of the last incarnations of ashura and indra the 2 son's of hagoromo, that can't be nothing, I have this feeling that mitsuki is connected in some way to the threat bigger than kaguya.

About the threat being right next to his daughter,at least that would give sasuke reason to not abandon his daughter.
