About the Rikudou sennin

What do you guys think about sage mode being one of the powers of the rikudou???
I think that awakening the rinnegan needs natural energy as well.That is why madara couldn't awaken the rinnegan till his death.Come to think of it.The juubi is the representation of nature's energy.When madara summoned back the gedo mazou he must've absorbed some of the nature chakra from the mazou(He himself stated that the mazou was the juubis empty shell.So it's not surprising that it retained some nature energy)

Nah.I mentioned nothing about that.What I said was that apart from senju+uchiha dna,one needs nature energy to AWAKEN rinnegan

i think it was said that in order to awaken the rinnegan u just need the two bloodlines! The natural energy maybe is one of the 6 paths of the SO6P!

Well I accept what you're suggesting considering madara was very weak after his battle with hashi.That might've delayed his awakening as well.Anyways it's just a theory.I appreciate you took the time to read mine.

yes but your incorporation of the 9tails with that makes it flawed, to go sage mode with rinnegan he would still have to discard hurama as a viable tool in battle. Remember when he attempted to use kuramas chakra to create an even larger starting pool to allow himself to absorb even more nature chakra? didnt work, because while the tailed beasts are nature chakra, they were labeled "evil" nautre chakra and would not mix with the pure nature chakra. Another thing being that if the rinnegan required nautre chakra to unlock, that doesnt automatically mean sage mode is the key. The sage modes are simply techs taught to ninja by the greater animal clans (i.e. toad and dragon). These modes are a means to take that nature chakra that is already around you and can theoretically be absorbed already and convert it into a specific technique. remember, it being called sage mode does not instantly link it to so6p, because sage was merely a title given to someone who was a master of something, in this case being a master of the six paths.

Don't think of him as a ninja. He was literally god. He could create anything he wanted with his mind. He was always in sage mode. He created chakra and could manipulate nature.

Yeah! But the best means of absorbing nature enegy around you is sage mode.That is the reason I said sage mode may be one of the powers of the rikudou but it's not essential to awaken the rinnegan.

He likely didnt belong to any animal like naruto does, he probably just had the ability to utilize infinite
nature energy for an unlimited amount of time thus being the reason he was able to create a chibaku tensei the size of the moon.

Yes.Yes. And that infinite nature energy comes from the juubi inside him which leads us to another plausible theory that the sage awakened the rinnegan after sealing the juubi inside him.
