Well they were all kinda aprentices.kabuto was also a spy for sasori or something like that so he couldve aquired dna through that

i made this thread yesterday, but mainly for deidara, oro never met him and he blew himself into thin air... no traces of dna

And to your question: I agree with ImNoOne. Sasori's heart was left so many Kabuto used that as a DNA source? Or Kabuto might have known about Sasori's true form after or before his final battle? ...I actually have no idea.. xd Gomenasai.. >.<
