About the juubi??

okay i know its been like ten manga episodes from this but i was just wondering why is the juubi an one eyed head plated animal or something i mean the other bijus are a fox a turtle abull like octopus and a lizard but for some reason the juubi is a something with a face plate cant it be a dragon or a serpent or something mythical but that my opinion whats do you think the juubi should look like beside from its face plate.???



ps if your tring to find the manga number its like 467.

Well, maybe the other bijuu weren't simply seperated from the juubi and in their current forms. Maybe, the Rikudo sage simply divided its chakra into as many different peices as he could, and sealed them into any nearby thing... such as the animals. Thats why, one tailed has such little energy. He started with one tailed, and managed to take a little energy from that. But, as he progressed it became harder and harder to divide its energy, so it turned into larger and larger amounts.

Well the Juubi is the source of the other tailed beast origins, so I guess Kishi wanted to give it a more mythical/alien appearance because of it's unnatural existence in the world. It's certainly intimidating with one giant gazing at the opponent kinda like the eye of Sauron in the LOTR series. There's probably some sort of background in Japanese mythology about a one eyed beast/demon.
