It's because movies are typically optional viewing when it comes to understanding the main story. He's canonizing the key parts of the Boruto movie by drawing them out.

The fact that the key events of the Boruto movie are being drawn out and the last never was tells us all we need to know about which movie was filler and which one wasn't but that's a discussion for a different day.

But hey, i'm ready to give it a chance once we're done with the Boruto the movie recap regardless if the art increases or decreases in quality :bdpf:
I agree.

But this is such a pitiful waste of time. How many months have they wasted so far? Their first arc better be a banger

Japanese people rarely dislike something shounen-related, they have extremely high tolerance. I remember reading 2015 fillers were quite liked in Japan, so you know their thinking and taste is completely different from ours.

From what I understand, the Japanese love multiple works of one thing. Like they'll buy a Light Novel, Manga (LN version), Anime, and even Movies that come from that.

That's not even including art work, toys, and other accessories. Still I don't know how the Manga is doing via sales because it's grouped together with the Mitsuki one shot too.
