What do you guys think about Selma? Both the movie and the real life event. For me, it made me disgusted that people could do such things to other humans all for the sake of skin color. Watching the movie and the first bridge scene just made me feel horrible. Watching all of those men, women, and kids get beat and murdered for marching. Because their skin color was different...

What do you guys think about the movie and the real life event? How does it make you feel?

it was sub par at best. I enjoyed it but it didn't move me.

that was nothing compared to what happened in my country

Which country do you live in? I don't agree in really debating who's people have suffered more. Our ancestors have suffered greatly, we experiencing suffering, and our descendants will as well.

OT: It's sad, but it's also a testament to will power and perseverance. If I sit too long and think about what humans have done to each other since the birth of civilization it can make me pretty discouraged.

In terms of the filmography I didn't see it, but it didn't win very many awards. Maybe the acting or something wasn't as good as it could have been?
