It looks like Sasuke no longer has tomoes on his rinnengan, so it is possible that Hagoromo upgrade was temporary.

I mean if Sasuke rinnengan with Tomoes was temporary maybe Naruto RSM is gone.

I guess the one that got the powers natural without Hagoromo is Madara, I wonder how strong Madara would be had Hagoromo given him his chakra when madara had his 2 rinnengan.

This is in the main story, him not having tomoe has a precedent. Unless of course it's an error, but I doubt they would make an error that large.

Neither has lost their abilities they still have them sasuke still has all the 6 paths and more his toms just fadded and naruto still has rsm his cloak just changed as we have noticed it looks like a variation of his old and rsm from war.

The tomoes let him use his MS/EMS abilities with Rinnegan I doubt it went away or that's mega nerfing for Sasuke.

I'd say it's just the natural progress of a rinnegan. (Having tomoe on it right after activating [even tho they didn't show it in Madara's case], then it slowly fades away as the user learns how to control it. Madara could use his MS abilities just fine despite having non-tomoe rinnegan, tho again, that1 was dual, while Sasuke's only 1, yet alone the other differences..)

Anyway, so far we only got to see Sasuke and Madara (SO6P had it all along, and we don't rly know a thing about him /// as for Nagato, it wasn't his, so obviously had nerfed abilities) as Rinnegan users whos activated it during the story and the way they got it, as well as the form is kinda different, so it's hard to decide it, but i'd say Sasuke is just fine and didn't lose a thing regarding his Eye power and it's merely a change in it's look.

I say it's still possible for them to go into that mode it's just a further upgrade. Ex. SS3. Maybe naruto can pull out one staff and maybe a ball or two ( LOL ) and sasuke can still use his Tomoe if activated

While Sasuke can deactivate his eye at will, he's not what I call a full-blown Rinnegan user. The same goes with Madara. The reason is that even though he and Madara do have the Rinnegan, they also still have the S/MS/EMS in their eyes. To me, a genuine Rinnegan user has the Rinnegan as their only doujutsu. So, that only applies to Hagoromo and Nagato. On whether or not Hagoromo had "normal" eyes and could deactivate his Rinnegan, that's what I think makes the mystery even more interesting.
