Because a lot of those threads speculated that Sakura was part-Senju, that she had a genetic legacy than predestined her towards surpassing Tsunade (and others) in ways only Hashirama did.

With "Slug Sage Mode". A lot of it was an emphasis that she was equal with the boys, in not just terms of power but legacy as well.

Which was bullshit, of course.

The burn (as I see) comes from it being attained by the other woman. A lot of Sakura fans have a predispositon to hate Hinata, and in that "filler" she got a lot of what I saw being talked about in threads as the desired outcome for Sakura.

Ridiculous power and genetic legacy.

You can't just discount Hamura's legacy as nothing - and ranks don't mean much in the grand scheme of things; Sasuke and Naruto were genin during the 4th Shinobi War after all.
