Recently i made a thread suggesting that cannon characters should not have to train there justu.
I was misinformed about a few things and i was properly informed and agree with the reasons behind such decisions
I was made aware of people who tend to abuse certain powers and some need honest training in those aspects and adds more depth and appreciation for the justu learned.I was mistaken on that front.
However i believe many were misinterpreting or skipping my primary gripe with the current system.
Which was cannon characters bios which directly conflict with what is said in the naruto manga,
I read many approved bios.And the majority go a little something like this.
Tobirama,Tsunade,A,Hiruzenetc,itachi,etc,etc, With all elements mastered or in training.
Now i already delved into that that the most skilled jonin have 3 elements max.
The ones have a disposition to one element (The one their naturally affiliated with).And the second and third one trained in and mastered by the sheer skill and volition of the character.I also seen people who have specialties.Which is no surprise ninja specialize in certain aspects but these bios take it to extremes.They and i speak for the majority,specialize in Taijustu,kenjustu,genjustu and whatever element they like most.
Now there is two things i would like to point out here.They basically specialize in everything.
And what is the difference in pointing out you specialize in one element when you have it noted your a master in all elements ?What is the need or reason to point out you specialize in one thin when you boast that your a master is practically in everything category.In the databooks having a 5 indicates your a master at this.If translated accordingly every bio would score a perfect 40 in the data book.How is that not op or abuse of justu and skills ?
Why is it if abuse of justu and op shinobi is such a concern if people can learn every element ?It contradicts what the manga said about shinobi and how many elements they have.It also severely down plays and makes light of the properties of the rinengan.It was stated that only people with the rinnegan can learn all five elements.Yet i see tobirama and juugo bios who know all elements and specialize in every category.Once again how is that not op or abuse ?
Do i now have to have my character learn more elements and "specialize" in every category if i ever want to stand a chance against these faux rinnegan like users ,who are blessedly skilled in every aspect ? This system is not true to the narutoverse and makes it difficult for people to introduce their own characters or people who want to represent the cannon characters faithfully.Yet how can that be done when they must break character which is something not everyone wants to do simply so they can be on par with people who want to be He Men masters of the universe.
