[Theory] About Rinnegan's awakening - It's not that simple

Orochimaru/Kabuto's investigation did their research, and Madara also experimented gaining his own conclusions about the Rinnegan.

Kabuto's conclusions:

Madara had enough arrogance to confront Kabuto's ingenuity and speaks about the Rinnegan as a power that belongs to the Uchiha Clan, since he alluded to the Uchiha Monument.

Summarizing: These two thought that the next step of EMS was the Rinnegan, adding Senju DNA.

They were fundamentally wrong. The answer to the awakening of the Rinnegan was having Indra's and Ashura's chakra. This is what we learn in the last chapters!

Using this logic, and funny thinking: You don't even need a Sharingan to get the Rinnegan, do you?

- Ashura's last transmigrant is Uzumaki. What if Indra's transmigrant was a Hyuuga and this Hyuuga used Naruto's flesh to awake... a Rinnegan? Logic fits, because the requirement is not DNA, it is only the chakra of Indra and Ashura.

Conclusion: Rinnegan is a trait that is manifested when Hagoromo's chakra is present in someone. This quite explains why the plothole of Madara using Izanagi losing his eye, and then magically he got both Rinnegan... it's because the eyes are not important in the process of awakening, the important thing is the chakra of the transmigrants!

Yes, it kind have should have been obvious. You can have any eyes in your sockets and awaken the Rinnegan, you just need some sort of eyes and not no eyes imo.

i know he gave his rinne to nagato but what i mean that is it a coincidence that he only had a left eye or what? like where did he get a spare or how does awakening ems work? the eyes join together or is it just replacing? if its replaceing he could just use his ems for izanagi and put in his ms after, awaken rinne then put in his left ems again. idk.

I thought about that, but then the possibility of Ashura's chakra being limited stroke me down. He probably could not awake another pair of Rinnegan because he exhausted all Ashura's chakra in hashirama's flesh.

This possibility grows when you think that Madara had to absorb Hashirama's Sage Mode in order to increase his powers after the Rinne Tensei, "coincidentally" before getting his first Rinnegan back.

Nice thread Hiru I agree that had to have been the case. I was curious about the matter myself and figured if he had any sharingan it shouldnt make a difference since the requirement is ashura+indras chakra.

I never thought about it that way.
So even Senju or Uzumaki or Hyuuga or Haruno or Namikaze can get rinnegan as long as they have Rikudo's chakra.

But I think it would be better to say that someone can get rinnegan if they have yin+yang chakra from Rikudo, because Naruto doesnt have rinnegan altough Rikudo gave him part of his own chakra

No, you must be a transmigrant. You also cannot just have some of Hagoromo's chakra, you have to produce it. In Madara's case, he mixed his DNA with Hashirama's so that his body would generate chakra that was a mix of theirs. Eventually, this chakra produced enough while he drained all of his original chakra, so that he would completely have only his new chakra, awakening the rinnegan.
