[Suggestion] About quoting

Well I just wanted to suggest that it would be good if when we quote a post, everything including quotes already present in that particular post get quoted instead of only the text made in that post.

Not exactly but yea you need to use the quote button in this case. It would be a great help while debating and stuff.

Say you quote someone and then someone else quotes you, and someone else quotes that person and so on.. This will make the pages far too big, making them load slower.

Like I have quoted this post but the post that was earlier quoted in this post does not appear. But if it appears that would help.
But its just a suggestion, its for you people to decide its feasibility and stuff.

I seriously don't think it'd be a practically good idea, For people who're doing serious discussions, it would get far too big(just like you see in the PMs), i guess the present system is just fine.
I agree it would be helpful but too troublesome, plus if you want to do it that bad(for discussion purpose) you can manually also do it, but then again it would be a pain in the ass for you guys too

Not in favour. I find this already quite annoying in long PM conversations. The page gets stretched, but most of the earlier replies get compressed and it becomes even difficult to see who exactly said each thing. In fact for debates this is more of a burden than a convenience.

You can easily retrace the steps of a series of quoted posts, so there's no need for this.

I'm not in favour either. Just click the tiny double arrow icon (it is within the quote bubble right after the quoted user's name) to trace each quote to its origin (i.e. Where it was originally stated). Keep doing that instead searching page by page.
