SO I'm very open to the possibility of me being dead-wrong, but wasn't p1 Naruto's jacket destroyed while he was training w/ Jirayia during the time-skip?? I don't have a page reference I just vaguely remember reading about it..

The Jacket in question plays a minor supporting role in the Boruto Movie, so possible plot-hole??

Yeah, this brings up the forbidden question in fiction though- does Naruto and everybody else have a wardrobe full of the same outfit? Is it their ninja uniform in their eyes?

I'm sure Naruto has a couple. Maybe the Boruto one was one he wore in early Part 1 days that he grew out of. Part 1's pacing in real time is slower than Shippuden.

OT: it wouldnt make sense it to be destroyed then was he walking naked then, most likely got to old and out grew it and probably put away for nostalgic purposes.
