Clearly Robin is stronger, as she trained with dragon for 2 years. I also think she is underrated amongst the straw hats, I think her DF makes her extremely dangerous. Even more so than Sanji currently.

If that were really true then why didn't she stop Brownbeard from sinking their boat in Punk Hazard even though most of them were DF users and would drown? It's inconsistencies, Robin can be super strong or pretty useless depending on how Oda decides to utilize her.

Huh, last time I checked Robin was in the mid trio, Kyros was the one fighting Diamanté, and Lao G only beat Kyros when he was a toy and could only use like 0.1% of his power since he was a toy. You might want to actually reads the scans instead of just looking at the pictures.

That's not my point though. You said Robin can clutch anything she can see, they clearly could see the Brownbeard crew firing from the bank yet she didn't clutch them and stop them. It's all dependent on Oda and Oda doesn't seem to utilize Robin well and that reason alone is why I doubt Oda will ever make her comparable to the M3 despite her DF power being very hard to counter.

Why didnt sanji use HM on vergo or dd
why didnt ryuma use the sharp side of his blade to cut the weakling trio to bits
why did dd not shoot law in the head
why did gekko moria put the m3 back on the boat after he took their shadows when its closer and safer to leave them in those coffins.

Every author balances neccesity with consistancies.

Oda has always potrayed robin as a beast
so brownbeard rushing can be counted as a plot based neccesity.


Robin has always been portrayed to be better than brute strength fighters. Always.

No one was able to keep up with hakubas speed. They couldnt even see him. Yet she caught him in an instant when she wasn't even paying attention. If she solos Diamante you can make an argument that she is on par with the M3.

Sorry but as much as I love Robin (And really, REALLY do as most people around here can already tell), it takes more than just DF mastery to be worthy of being in the same league as the M3, such as having Haki and some sort of Superhuman strength combined with great armed/unarmed combat skills which Robin still lacks in both departments, at least as far we know so far but Oda might surprise us in a way.

Manga already showed in the past that she can't hold strong people with the hold of the fruit. Zoro forcefully broke free once and even his zombie during the thriller bark managed. Her fruit is good against speedsters, but against people capable to overcome her ability with brute force, it's useless.

It's also useless against Luffy who is invulnerable to blunt damage or logias, even some paramecias as well like Gladius counter her ability perfectly. Not to mention the limbs she create render her vulnerable to attacks(if you hit the limbs, she feels pain as well), like we've seen how Sugar turned him into a toy. While deadly, her devil fruit has greater weakness than people think. This chapter proved she is stronger than Brook, but not sure about Franky, but she certainly isn't a M3. She is in the mid trio
