What do you think guys? I think when everything gets prepared and ready for Naruto being Hokage, he transfers it to Shikamaru, and himself sets his own pack to make peace to the world, traveling nation to nation. maybe =D

His main aim is to be friend with all (from his childhood) , his hokage as dream was because of hatred of people to make him acknowledge ,, i think after this battle shikamaru or sasuke will be hokage and naruto like sage of six path and his sensei jiraya , he will move place to place to change the world . Naruto from his heart doesnt much care of title so he wont.

Dude if naruto doesn't become hokage then it will contradict himself, his main purpoise was to be hokage.

And this is the last arc that we might have for the series. Maybe 2-3 chapters after few years to see what happened to everyone and the villages & kages of course.

Naruto is the perfect kages. He just doesn't like paperwork, he will have shikamaru next to him so yeah no problem with it also naruto has kurama who is super smart so yeah that's a big plus for naruto.

Shikamaru is too lazy to be a kage. Even though he is very smart , the villagers would have trouble relying on him most likely.

well not one nation but they will keep the shinobi alliance, and Naruto will most likely be leading the alliance.

Yes I agree naruto is the perfect kage. But their is no getting around the paperwork.

Well, there are enough candidates, that's for sure, and they are all promising:

Naruto: lacks the intelligence but he's devoted to his village and is strong enough.

Sasuke: he's more like the Danzo-type. But no one in the village would want him and he's not kindhearted enough, but he's also strong enough. (but if he becomes Hokage, the manga will have failed.)

Shikamaru: he's smart and cunning. Eventhough he lacks strenght, his high IQ makes up for it. And he's also kindhearted and when he really has to, he can get devoted for something and put his all into it, like how he avenged Asuma and will protect his kid.

Personally i'd like to see Naruto become the next Hokage, but out of all the other teams, I feel like Shikamaru always has had the most screening time, maybe this implies he will play a bigger role in the future as well. If he would become Hokage, i'd still be okay with it, but he could also become Naruto's personal strategy advisor or something like that.
