Last Night I had a dream. Let me run this by you guys.
What if in the Mitsuki One Shot, The Naruto Ninja Continent is in a post apocalyptic state 1 year after the events of Boruto The Movie. The last remaining village was the hidden leaf and all the Chunin and Jonin were outside fighting a war in the village. A person that rose up from a Country not yet shown is attempting to destroy the last shinobi village left being that he or she has a hatred for Ninja.
All of the Civilians and Genin are inside the Hokage monument hiding with Kabuto Charged with their protection. The events happening are told from obviously Mitsuki's point of view. Mitsuki is talking to Bolt and Sarada about something them and their peers did that sparked this war, but without giving details.
Naruto get's blasted through the wall on the monument and the Guy or woman who started this thing is standing above him in triumph but gets distracted when they notice where the the kids and civilians are. Come to find out it was a Clone of Naruto's and real Naruto pushes them out. Through the hole in the wall, the kids get a glimpse of what war is really like, the village is on fire, Buildings are destroyed, bodies are littered around. They see other Ninja fighting. At that moment there is a Bright flash of light. Kishi portrays it getting closer and closer and closer as if it's some dangerous. Everyone including Naruto are covering their eyes. The next panels show a white out and on the next page the village is normal, everyone's walking around all care free, etc etc.. And in the top right hand corner there is a 1 year ago label. Boruto's team are about to go on a mission. Bottom where they announce things all the time, It says that the Boruto Manga will tell the events leading up to the That apocalyptic future.
What would you guys say then? Granted this will likely never happen. Seeing as it was only a dream, but if it were to happen.
