[Discussion] About Naruto's "natural abilities"

Since I hear very often that Naruto without Kurama would be nothing I would like to state one thing: Naruto never had any proper training to learn the basic techniques of his clan- in contrast to Sasuke (no bash). Point is that till now we have seen how powerful uzumaki sealings are and yet no one ever thought even for a sec what would be Naruto's prowess if he had learned them.

I mean look at Karin: this girl was considered by the vast majority a fodder till some chapters ago when her uzumaki chains emerged.

And that's only one technique, and a technique that she was using it for the very first time against a fearful opponent as the Spiral's Statue which could keep at bay the whole Alliance and Hiruzen.

My conclusion: How can you say that Naruto would be a looser if he hadn't Kurama while he derives from a clan with so powerful techniques? The only reason for which he wouldn't manage to learn them would be because there wouldn't be any uzumaki around to teach them to him but other than that, you can't really judge what his power would be like because he never got the chance to have a proper education again in contrast to sasuke.

P.S These chains were capable of easily breaking huge amounts of the wooden statue, I would like to see Naruto using them at close combat against a living being and see how things would work out.

I don't think he will used the chains. I could say that Naruto's chakra would increase by a good amount, considering that his chakra is also needed to suppress the Tailed Beast. I am just going off to say that he would be more S/T type of person in this case.

naruto with just his natural abilities and if his parents were alive.. rather than having kurama instead..

naruto would have ended up with uzumaki sealing techs from his mother and father and would have learned rasengan earlier, would have also learned FTG and still would have learned shadow clones..

naruto would have had a completely different fighting style

Rasengan at an earlier age
ST barrier
death reaper seal
uzumaki seals
uzumaki chains
Sage mode with ma and Ma

take into consideration that ma and pa have other elements, naruto has Wind and probably would have mastered another one, that alone allows a lot of variations of jutsus, and with ma and pa, naruto has unlimited sage mode, so the jutsu combinations would be on a grand scale, and lets not forget about Sound Genjutsu.

now sasuke even with the sharingan BUT without itachis Eyes, would be strong, but will go blind eventually.

This thread is secretly bashing Sasuke.
Naruto has great potential without Kurama, but it doesn't mean that he will definitely be Kage level

who is talking about receiving?

im talking about naruto being more disciplined and smart when fighting and im sure his parents would have trained him to become a good shinobi, regardless of anything.

Usually in threads like this people tend to offer little more than meaningless platitudes that can be applied to most characters in the same genre. Naruto's a fighting genius, is he? Well, how unique. He's as special as Goku, Luffy, Ichigo, Gon, and just about every other shōnen hero worth mentioning.

Nope. Platitudes tend to offer nothing of real value in discussion. In fact, I'd go as far as to say they prevent actual debate. Anyway, moving on to the point.

Naruto is an incredibly dangerous individual. Not because he has a bijū, not because of his Sage Mode or lineage, but because of two particularly dangerous attributes that make him a force to be reckoned with. Those attributes being that he fights without consideration for his own safety and has no predictable pattern. Just look at his fight against Kakuzu. He put himself at such a risk, not even an experienced shinobi like Kakuzu, who was undoubtedly superior at the time, could have predicted it. Naruto always keeps his opponents guessing and he always manages to trick them into guessing wrong. He's done it Zabuza, and he's done with Neji, Gaara, Nagato, Obito and pretty much everyone he has every fought. The more his opponents try to predict his moves, the harder it becomes for them to get a fix on him.

Aside from these two attributes, Naruto learns by doing. He's not an intellectual and he's quite ignorant, but he's not an idiot. If things are put in terms he identifies with he'll understand. See Gamakichi's explanation of how Senjutsu works using ice cream. Your first instinct is to write Naruto off as an idiot, an imbecile who is hardly capable of critical thought. The thing is, Naruto is an idiot without actually being an idiot. He's slow on the take, sure, when it comes to things he doesn't particularly care for like information on things he doesn't mess with often, but once he's interested, he absorbs the subject mater and masters it, e.g. like he did with Senjutsu.

Naruto would be no less dangerous without his bijū. It's the man under the armour that counts.
