Tell this to NS fans and other shippingers who were reading a shonen fight manga for romances!
As I said I was reading Naruto because of the fights, seeing Naruto as Hokage and redeeming Sasuke.
Trust me: if you say something even indirectly that would "hurt them", like you disliked Road To Ninja because the alternate characters were cheap and outdated while Kakashi and Sasuke didn't do anything in the movie + they appeared for seconds only to see "how alternate they are", you will be called by NH fan already by NS fans and after a time it will surely makes you annoyed!
Sure, that's why it's so well deve- wait, no, it wasn't even existing thanks to Lord Sasuke, Sakura's only true love. ;P
Also, all romances in shonen fight mangas are fanservices, NS and NH are not exceptions. Also, since selling tsundere crap would milking far more than any other pairing types NS would be more better for milking the otakus.
Nobody forced Kishimoto to make any pairings. He did it by his own free will. Even The Last was made only because Kishimoto gave his permission to do it, he could make a TRUE NS movie if he wanted. Other question that he realised that until Lord Sasuke lives Sakura has no reason to romanticaly love someone who is the total opposite to her ideals and kept in friendzone ever they knew about each others.
