Sorry but I ship naruhina since part 1. Its all opinionated but naruhina seems very likely.
Okay but there is no pairing that is "practically married"

Well, If Naruto is like any male in the real world, he's ignoring the fact that Hinata loves him in till she grows out of it.

I'm sorry to the ladies but thats how young men work, its our version of an easy let down. When I was in middle school or high school and a girl liked me, that I didn't personally have any feelings for, in less she tried to ask me out, I'd pretty much ignore the fact that she liked me. Because at the age, I wasn't brave enough or I felt too evil to tell a nice girl that I don't like that fact that I don't like her in that way.

But thats just me.

The whole couple fandom thing is dumb, it obvious the way Kishi displays the couples that he providing fan service to each one. Unless Kishi specifically puts a verbal conversation that a couple says there canon, there is no such thing till the end of the manga.

I don't like Naruhina mostly because of there fandom, they seem to exaggerate at little to much on there "moments", such as this last chapter which they conclude it must be a "Naruhina" moment because of panel placement. The hand holding and confession where actually "moments", this last one is really lame if Naruto had responded with Hinata's name then i'd be convinced since he usually screams out there person's name he need to save everytime but he didn't in this instance.

Nobody knows Kishi's mind so its up in the air, even though I've always felt they way Kishi displayed the couples in Road to Ninja, his first self written Naruto movie, is the same dynamics as Kishi displays in his manga. NH and SS, kinda of being side stories to the main event of NS but its nothing evident to the final canon couple. I felt this way about the couples even before Kishi wrote RTN, but people see it a different ways I guess.

I can't stand when girls are desperate for the D.
It's annoying in RL, I just want to smack a girl when she's all over me when I'm obviously not interested.
That's why I don't support NH or SS
Yet you support sk .

The most useless thread ever created on this forum.

The mods around here, clearly, do not understand how the internet works. Discussions of such popularity and intensity never fit within a single thread, and it is useless to carry on discussion in such threads.

Its not like I give a massive **** about the coupling/romantic pairs in Naruto, as I just think it's pure drivel to feed the female fans/'men', but don't you think you can't predict the future couplings regarding Naruto until he actually finds out Hinata is in love with him?

Cause he seems oblivious to the fact that she clearly loves him. He thinks she's weird or strange with how she acts around him. I'm sure once he finds out that she loves him he'll look at her differently. Shouldn't you guys take this into account before you make massive amounts of threads arguing over who will end up as couples?

There are two misconceptions, here.

First is that Hinata is concerned about what westerners consider a relationship.

This is how western concepts of relationships break down: "You're cute. You laugh at my jokes or you buy me things. I think I can give up masturbation for you."

This is partly why divorce and adultery rates are obscenely high in the west.

Eastern concepts of relationships are considerably more focused around building a family. Arranged marriages are still very common and men/women are valued based upon their ability to physically support a family. The man is expected to be able to shelter and feed a family (and possibly the relatives of a family, particularly in arranged marriages) and the woman is expected to run an efficient home. Even if the roles were reversed - the focus would still be on the ability of the two to physically support each other.

Hinata wants the opportunity to support Naruto - to stand and walk beside him. There are reasons for this that stem from his behavior and support of her - from her drawing of inspiration from his person.

Neither of them are going to start macking on each other in the middle of a battlefield. Even holding hands, by Eastern standards, is an incredibly public display of unity. Though it would fit Naruto's character as something of a cultural clutz with brazen, blunt, and profound mannerisms. In a sense - that scene could be taken as Naruto acknowledging and accepting Hinata's desire to stand by his side.

Which leads to the second misconception:

Naruto hasn't denied or ignored Hinata.

This implies that there is more going on between the two than has been directly illustrated in the manga thus far. It would not surprise me to see more interaction between Naruto and Hinata crop up in yet another flash-back (because God Forbid crucial plot and story developments that occurred alongside previous manga events have been shown at the time).

Honestly, it would be completely out of character for Naruto to ignore someone who jumped in front of certain death for him. That's what 90% of Shipuuden has been about - Naruto chasing after Sasuke because he felt Sasuke could understand him (as well as risked life and limb for him). For him to not seek Hinata out would be radically out of his character. Even if the manga excuse is that "everything just got so busy with the reconstruction of the Leaf" - it is still unlikely that Naruto is disinterested in her.

The key point to keep in mind, though, is that the characters aren't real. The world isn't real. The events are all a part of the author's intent to convey a message.

As such, when one discusses the concept of "Naruto and Hinata" - one should pay close attention to every scene in which Hinata appears, and take into account what the author is trying to say. Kishimoto is somewhat more arbitrary in this sense - his plot is often not so well refined as to hide the "hand of the author."

A hint should have come to people from the started, after Kishi created Naruto the Second Character created in the Manga was Hinata and Kishi spend a lot of time drawing them together in the early. Hinata originally was not supposed to be a Ninja a Waitress at Naruto's favorite eatery the Ramen place and thatHinata was the only person who paid attention to His stories and fell in love with Him. The Producer insisted that Hinata be a Ninja too and that two more characters be created and added to the story Sasuke to be Naruto Eternal Rival and Sakura who would be Sasuke number one fan girl and desirer of Sasuke hearth. And the rest is History as all 4 characters keep interacting with each other over time. From childhood crushes to late Teenager love interest. The Result being Hinata and Sakura have ben chasing their childhood loves and Chapter 677 Naruto has felling for Hinata, He heard Her call and was about to respond to Her till Sasuke stop Him.
