Back then when Yahiko dyed,Nagato was wery angry and summoned "Demonic statue of the Outher path"...and it obviously wasn't normal summon...my question is:What is that creature he summoned back then?????
I am sure that it isn't normal summon animal and unlike animals he summoned during invasion on konoha it haven't rinengan in his eyes...and that creature was so powerful...and it's connected with rinengan somehow...but what is it anyway...??????????????
I want to know what do you think xd

It's the demonic statue they're using to get the ten-tailed beast.

Appearance EditThe Demonic Statue is a giant, stone creature. When summoned it bursts from the ground, with only its upper torso and arms visible. Its back has a number of rocky protrusions. When it is first summoned by Nagato, the Statue is wearing a blindfold. During subsequent Akatsuki appearances, nine slots for its (normally closed) eyes are present in the blindfold. In these appearances its arms are also bound in shackles and it has a bit in its mouth. When it was fully seen within Madara's base, it appears to wear some form of skirt, presumably just a design feature, and its ankles also appear to be bound in shackles. The long protrusion of Chakra amplifying metal from when it connected to Nagato is also present coming from its midsection.

Role EditThe full appearance of the statue.
Added by Deva 27Nagato first summoned the Demonic Statue during his battle with Hanzō and his forces. As soon as it appears it pierced Nagato with a number of Chakra Disruption Blades, causing him to become emaciated, Nagato used it to annihilate Hanzō's men.

Years later, Nagato made it the means behind Akatsuki's tailed beast extraction. Nagato summons the statue and the other Akatsuki members then convene and, over a period of three days, extract the tailed beast from its jinchūriki and seal it into the statue. As the sealing nears completion, one of the eyes corresponding to the beast that is being sealed opens. When the sealing begins, the bit falls from the Statue's mouth.

Thus far the statue has had the first seven tailed beasts sealed into it. The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox must be sealed into it last, or else the Statue will be destroyed. After Nagato's death, Madara Uchiha indicates that Nagato was just a pawn that the Demonic Statue had been synchronized with. He states he would like Sasuke Uchiha to be Nagato's replacement, but decided to wait until Sasuke was easier to manipulate.

When not in use, the Statue is kept at Mountains' Graveyard. It sits upon a lotus flower that grows from a copy of Hashirama Senju. The flower links the Statue to an underground cavern, where Madara uses the tailed beasts' chakra stored in the Statue to create clones of white Zetsu.[2]

Abilities EditThe statue's dragon-like entity.
Added by FmakckThe Statue is able to emit dragon-like forms of energy from its mouth. When these dragons come into contact with ordinary humans, the humans' souls are ripped from their bodies, killing them. When these dragons surround a jinchūriki or a tailed beast, the tailed beast's chakra is gathered to the Statue's mouth and stored inside for future use. Nagato wanted to use these beasts to create a weapon that could destroy a country. Madara wants to reassemble them into the Ten-Tailed Beast.

I think its the actuall body from the 10 tailed beast, and it dosent have the rinningan because it dosent have all the demon chakra, and isnt being controlled by the Sage of the six paths. in theory... good thread.

Thanks...one more question:when Nagato summoned it back then it looked like that beast actually controlled Nagato...and Konan told him to stop using it...And how is this beast connected with the Sage of 6 paths...
What do you think about that???xd

I kind of know what your talking about would you post the manga chapter or anime eps so I could recall what your seeing? The only part that is similar in my head is that when the statue stabs Negato with the Chakra rods. But once I'm more familiar with what your talking about I'll talk more about it with you if you wish.

Seriously one of the best summonings in the series lol. I personally dont think Negato was being controlled by the by the demon statue, I think he just kind of got a euphoric high from sealing the chakra and the souls of the people hit by the phantom dragon. And the control and direction of the dragon leads me again to think that it was under Negatos control, Not sure if he was expecting to be impaled by all the chakra rods though. Then the statue is realeased and goes back to where ever it was summoned from.

What does the 10 tailed beast/ demon statue have to do with the Sage of the six paths, according to legend the Sage was the worlds first Jinjuriki taking the ten tailed beast into himself to control its power and protect the world from its rampage. I think there are manga refferances to this. But also as the sage was comeing to the end of his life he split the power of the ten tailed beast into nine tailed beast in order to dilute the beasts force and limit its destruction.

Are we close to being on the same page or at a similar understanding now?

Intresting notes brought up by your refferance so thanks a lot.,

I dont think the phantom dragon killed Hanzo if his soul was sealed by the phantom dragon he couldnt have been brough back by IWR, Chakra might be a diffrent story thought.

Hanzo also has a telaportaion juitsu up to this point I only thought that Madara, Minato, and the raikages assistant had them. thank you for finding this episode for me I'm about to go start another thread with it I'll + rep you after this post.

That episode you referanced points out something kind of important IMO see my thread for this detail.

I agree with you...but about sage of 6 paths...it must be connected with him somehow I mean there is no such animal..and it's just too powrful to be natural...and i think that just owner of rinengan can summon it...because after all rinengan belonged to sage of 6 paths...or maybe that beast is real owner of rinengan...what do you think about that??

The ten tailed beast I think was a natural occurance in the story. But the connection to the sage of the six paths I cant tell you every connection but, this is accodring to my memory from the story. The Sage of the six paths was the creator of all ninjuitsu, he had in his possession the Rinningan and his treasured items. And the beast could have been the origional owner of the rinningan, It seems to hold true that jinjuriki hosts take on charateristics or have charater istics of the tailed beast they hold. The only ones I cant find clear traits for are 6 tailed beast and the 2 tailed beast(could refferance it but sooooo not aprapo). But I guess it comes down to a twist on the old saying "Which came first the chicken or the egg", But in this case I cant and not really sure what to say about, "What came first the Sage of the Six Paths with the Rinningan, or the ten tailed beast/Demon statue?".

Again great discussion and great thread. Will you take a look at my thread? About the demon staute and comment there as well please?
