During the fight between Orochimaru and Hiruzen, how was Oro almost able to summon Minato, I thought Minato was sealed because he used the reaper death seal on the Kurama/Kyuubi

A few shuriken wouldn't be able to stop a jutsu of that level. Hiruzen is just retarded.
By the way no one other than Hiruzen (and probably Jiraiya) knew that Minato sealed himself into the death reaper. Not even Tobi knew that because it happened when it was just Naruto's family and Hiruzen watched it.
