But then, people would've complained for things like:
-Wait, what happened to taka?
-What happened to orochimaru?
-Why did kaguya need an army?
-Why does sarada look like karin?
-Why did sasuke look surprised in chapter 700?
-What happened to kurama?

etc...

Nah, he should've ended the series with chapter 698 with rather having Naruto and Sasuke blast their arms off, their bodies get blown to pieces via a suicidal attack on one another with their most powerful chidori and rasengan and then a time ship showing their statues a century later and them being recognized as legends.

(And if you are asking about the people withing the IT, Kishi should've had Hagoromo do that. Honestly, why didn't he f*ckin undo it with his rinnegan anyhow?)

Heh, it's not that bad IMO. But even so, it is what it is in the end. There's nothing we can do about it. Just be glad that we have some naruto to read and talk about for a few weeks and enjoy the ride while it lasts

Kishi had to find something to get the readers hooked and he suceeded because alot of people are talking about these chapters and even if they think it is bad, they still want to know what is going to happen.

And besides, you knew what you were getting into ever since the ending of the first gaiden chapter so if you read until then, it means that you were interested in it.
