so , as we know , kaidou is gonna face , apoo , kid and hawkins , that's the perfect match for them to see if they can actually beat shanks , bc as we know , during marineford war , shanks went to challenge kaido for a match just to stop him going after wb , since shanks beat kaido and then he arrived at marineford UNSCRATCHED , that means that if those 3 can beat kaido , they can beat shanks.

plus , we can also assume that kaido only took that appearance in the 2 years gap. in other words , that match would be without a doubt undodgeable (or how u write it) in order to beat shanks , u have first to beat kaido and then u go to shanks.

Shanks never challenged or actually defeated Kaido, if anything it was some kind of negotiation because Kaido is about to interfere with WB Pirates from reaching marineford and Shanks talked him out of it.

From what I read and watched, I believe Shanks and Kaidou had a little fight and it ended with a tie both pirates unharmed or the two actually. It's just that Shanks prevented Kaidou from going to Marineford.

Oh the logic. A. How do you know Kaidou won't team up with the Kidd alliance? He wants to start a huge war, bigger than MF, and they wanna kill a Yonkou, Shanks. It seems pretty plausible that they'll team up to attack Shanks thus leading to Law/Luffy engaging with Kaidou as was the plan(from Luffy's perspective) B. If Shanks beat Kaido unscratched then how does beating him = beating Shanks? That just doesn't make sense.

Judging from Luffy's max. and assuming that these three can do the same if not less... Kaido's hype is stronger.
