First I must admit that so far I am enjoying this watching backstory led by anime studio, really nice job. Well it was good episode and nicely done. I am happy that we get finally some backstory of Kaguya including a bit life from their children Hagoromo and Hamura. Also I really love what they to do to make ootsutsuki characters more deeper then they were presented in manga. However I dislike fast pacing of hagoromo and Hamura to being grown ups and even lack of Kaguya's bond with them, honestly I would prefer to see it better done with progress like:
babies Hagoromo and Hamura - Kaguya loving them deeply while doing some dark stuff in background but they are not aware
kids Hagoromo and Hamura - Kaguya caring about her sons and rasing them up while keep terrorizing people.
early teens Hagoromo and Hamura - Kaguya caring and loving as they look at to her but sometimes they are not obeying
medium teens Hagoromo and Hamura - Kaguya feeling bad as they like to hang around a lot of them own so they are esacping from her grasp and she being afraid of them finding out. Hagoromo and Hamura being suspicious
late teens Hagoromo and Hamura - Kaguya neglecting them a bit while doing anything she was to do. Hagoromo and Hamura find out truth and try to oppose their mother
adults Hagoromo and Hamura - Kaguya want their chakra back as she suspect betrayal as they push and try to influnce her to stop destroying world.
Whole Kaguya's caring and mother side in opposite to her's terryfing pressence and feeling betrayed while wanting their chakra back.
Also the whole Divine ki plot, seems like Kaguya planted it in ground so eventually she would aqcuire great power.
Also I don't like Hagoromo need to go through sharigan-rinnegan evolution. It just steal a bit uniquality and greatness as he was only one stated to master Rinnegan and awoken it through normal eyes. Also Connecting to toad sage mode is also bad, would be better if Hagoromo and Hamura taught frog, snake and snail who are know as nowadays sage animals.

- Lack of explanation of reason why Kaguya acted like that.
- Lack of Hagoromo and Hamura's growing up time and Kaguya changing her behaviour to them as they were growing up
- Hagoromo and Hamura not having senjutsu powers and being taught by gammaru, should be otherwise
- No RMS Hagoromo and Hamura until they were though by Gammamaru
- Lack of Hagoromo and Hamura training with Kaguya
- no emotions or feelings of Kaguya. Lack of conflict between her Mother caring side and being all powerfull and knowing what is better for you
Possible plot for explaining Kaguya which could go well with manga and databook, also movies:
Since ever certain clan of human looking living organisms had been living on some planet. All of them wee incredible powerfull but one day one of them found out ability to create devious seed which could use life energy of planet and even people to sprout into Tree. This Tree made amazing looking and feeling fruit so one crazy guy consumed it and then either he forced rest to obey him or they tried to rebel him so there was slaughter among clansmen. One of the surviving was teen girl comming from main family of Ootsutsuki called Kaguya and she managed to escape and keeping in her memory image and mention of special seed being made by one of her clansmen she decided to try it. Well it couldbe parents who helped her escape before dying.
Kaguya managed to create such seed and it dropped into planet earth where later shinobi world would develop. Kaguya initialy was concerned and ddin't want to enslave everyone as she didn't want to become like "him" however after loosing hope in humanity she decided to do it as it was only way even although she wanted to stop wars and any hate ironically she did the same as the one she despised...
all in all: 8/10, Plot could be done a bit better
