about itachi's past and reasoning

Guys, there's a guy on facebook said that

"Itachi is a hero, he killed his clan because uchiha clan is planning on destroying the village"

and then I got confused, just because I thought it's the akatsuki that was after the village?

is that true though?, itachi killed his clan to protect konoha because the clan was planning on destroying it?

Nah man. Sasuke got crazy by the feeling that his brother had to slaughter his hole family because the hokage and the advisers of the hokage ordered him to do it

So he's planning revenge on konoha. Wich makes totally no sense. Because the reason why itachui slaughters his clan is to protect konoha. And sasuke is going to destroy it.. -___-

no they werent. they just wanted to overthrow the elders and hiruzen. it would have been a quiet attack in the dead of night. if itachi didnt say anything the elders wouldnt have been prepared. they could put in a new govt overnight. easy.

its all because itachi wants to save konoha while purifying uchiha name again. he wants to die in sasuke's hand so that his little brother will become a village hero...this is the reason why he joined akatsuki - to be a big villain so that it would purify his clan's name again once he dies in sasuke's hand...

He was in the Anbu and got ordered to kill his clan because everyone thinks that The Uchiha is a big Threat to Konoha so Itachi begged Hiruzen to spare Sasuke's Life and that's Why He Killed off all Of the Clan members except for Sasuke
