But i stopped after they stopped the anime ( when gon see his father after he finish greed land)

I desided to watch the hunter x hunter 2011 after they reach the place old anime stopped at .

and the 2011 anime is past that, its on the chimera ant saga

yh there were in the old anime ova episodes that covered the greed island, but the 2011 series is already past that and is nearing the end of the chimera ant arc

I would suggest you rewatch the whole thing.

i don't know the number, but you might find it on hunterpedia if you follow the arcs, or you could just rewatch the whole thing, and you wouldn't mind doing that since the animation and action is far better than the 1999 series

If you don't want to rewatch the whole 2011 anime, then you should continue from 75 / 76.
In episode 75 is where Gon uses the cards from Greed Island to go for the player named Gnig (or what the name was).

That would be a good start.

The animation is super .

I would re-watch everything if I were you, the story moves way faster and the animation and fight scenes are 100x better
