Ive been wondering this for some time now.



Are his winks just an offensive haki or does it relate to his devil fruit ?


My opinion:

Its haki for sure, every movement can become an attack when using haki. His devil fruit powers have nothing to do with it.

If it's haki then how come when he's using"galaxy wink" he uses the Hermione shot to make his body bigger? He shouldn't need to make his body bigger if it's haki.

I read on wikia that it is Haki. It would make since for it to be haki because his devil fruit abilities are only activated through injection.

He only uses his devil fruit power to increase the size of his head, so that the range/scope of the blast will be increased. The attack itself has nothing to do with his DF, as we can see when he uses a regular death wink with no aid from is DF

If it's anything it's probably some part of his newkama kenpo.

I think this was addressed in an SBS. It's neither Haki nor a DF attack, it's just a strong air blast.
