About Boruto's vanishing rasengan

As it's shown in the movie boruto's rasengan is unique is rasengan it can do what minato,jiraiya,kakashi and boruto's father naruto can't do...it can VANISH so being that this is the case, I know this may sound far-fetched but could the reason why it can vanish then reappear be because it's some sort of space-time jutsu, the reason why I say this is because for example during the naruto,bee,kakashi and might guy vs obito battle, when naruto went to hit obito with the rasengan kakashi used kamui which made it disappear but then it reappeared and injured obito and another example is when the jubi launced a massive bijuudamma at the alliance and right before it hit them the 4th used a space-time tech which teleported it away from them and it reappeared somewhere else in the sea and exploded and so what I'm saying is sould it be possible that boruto has some sort of unique space-time tech which allows him to make his rasengan appear as though it vanished into thin air only for it to reappear afterwards.

Interesting theory but seeing how all the Space time jutsu we have seen so far have been done by either a seal, MS, EMS, or rinnegan I don't see it being the case. I personally just think it's his unique rasengan and since he is a prodigy can control when the rasengan is visible.

But what if with boruto being a prodigy he doesn't need a seal for his space-time jutsu,what if all he needs is WILL, basically what I mean is maybe he can make his rasengan disappear the reappear by his own will.

Too bad High Tear characters on (CANON) wont be defeated by a measly Rasegan. Any character who can sense Chakra or see it with there visible eyes will know what hes doing.

Don't think its possible without some type of dojutsu or seal but making it disappear and reappear is what he has already done. Don't think opening dimensions is in his arsenal atm if anything he may learn FTG from a scroll but other than that I just don't see teleportation to be in play here.

I think it's a flawed rasengan that he made his own. I think he has a smaller rasengan, with a lower amount of shape manipulation but more power. Like is vanishes because he stops manipulating when it's in the air, so it's moving faster, and it becomes visible when it makes impact.

here is my theory

"Chakra is ordinarily not visible to the unaided eye unless it is highly concentrated or manifested in large amounts."
-the Rasengan is by definition "the shape transformation of one's chakra to the highest possible point "

so my theory is that the moment his rasengan leaves his hand because he's no longer constantly pouring chakra into it is ceases to be visible which in itself is a neat trick however i can only assume that a technique like that although special will have a very limited range due to him no longer feeding chakra into the technique and not having it "cut through the air to maintain speed" like a rasen-shuriken would.

only problem with that theory is the existence of rasen-shuriken which is thrown yet still visible. so i'm just guessing that's the affect of a wind nature(or a nature in general) making it visible to the eye.

I saw the movie at a theater here in Japan in full detail, and it's not invisible. Boruto's base rasengan is throwable, like Naruto's FRS. But Boruto's has a shorter throwing range than FRS.

Remember how Naruto's 1st FRS on Kakuzu vanished before it made contact, because he wasn't experienced with it or whatever. It's the same, except it's Boruto's base rasengan.

That's true, but in that case, the FRS had dissipated altogether. Boruto's rasengan still causes damage after re-appearing
so it's not the same case.

I believe Boruto's Rasengan is more similar to Chidori than Naruto's Rasengan, in that he's using Wind Nature Chakra to form the ball. The way wind is, it'll be visible in high concentration, but once it stops being fed with more chakra, it loses the concentration (and expands), thus making it invisible. There is too little normal chakra to keep the orb visible in that state. This is the only reasonable explanation I can think of.

Naruto's FRS is different in that it used normal chakra for the orb, and wind chakra to form the shuriken around it. This may actually be why Naruto managed to combine his element with the Rasengan - Kakashi and Minato were trying to reach a different result (elemental and normal chakra spiraling in the orb).



So, in a nutshell, boruto's Rasengan = 90% wind chakra, 10% normal. Naruto's = 100% normal. FRS = 100% normal (orb), 100% wind (shuriken/blades)

Does that make more sense?
