Wait, was that Aoda in the promo?? If it's him, I bet he's going to save Sarada and help the gang deal with the snake. Man, if anything, most of Boruto's filler arcs are amazing, this one's about to be an absolute gem. I really hope we're getting some screen time for Aoda!

They could take the chance and maybe give a hint if there is any alternative on having summons (so it would foreshadow KK toad) because so far from what we know, a contract is needed. This smells like retcon but some consistency could be added to #BORUTOGREATNESS..
