Not sure why he no longer uses this ability but what about Chidori Senbon.

It's lightning shaped as senbon needles that spreads and flies rapidly in all directions.
Why he only used it in the fight vs Deidara im not sure. But I can think of many different fights where this ability would wreck any one lacking Lightning or Wind capable of defending against it.
I cant disagree with facts. It's definitely OP and could serve multiple different functions. It's obvious why Sasuke had to forget everything past base chidori otherwise what would become of Naruto.
Sigh... It has nothing to do with sasuke being dumb or neglecting his techniques, the problem is that once he awakened his mangekyou his new opponents essentially had abilities meant to take down sasuke. chidori, kenjutsu, genjutsu, katon. all of the shit you loved about hebi were nothing post- itachi death. Personally I'm okay with that because
1. it shows how deadly sasuke really is if kishi had to go out of his way to make this anti-uchiha arsenal.
2. showed just how valuable his mangekyou really was to the point that kishi had to slow sasuke's growth from reaching peak-mangekyou level but also have the 3 kages essentially "grind" sasuke down to fatigue to inevitably give onoki the guaranteed kill on sasuke.
Where did this lack of strategy myth came from? how many times did karin and tobi compliment sasuke's genius in fighting danzo? 1 time? 2 times? 3 times? wtf can chidori sebon do better than enton projectiles? downplaying sasuke to using his nostalgic weaker techniques is honestly worst and would only make his opponents look even better which is the last thing he needed since several of his opponents could counter lightning and the reason I know i'm right because it's exactly what happened... manga fact

besides I thought sasuke fans knew that when sasuke is bloodlust (instead of cocky) he would instantly go all out instead of dragging it out, it's nothing new, he's been doing it since pts. the only few circumstances probably had to with his curse seal side effects back during the early days or the time he fought itachi because he was obviously aware that the only way to beat his brother was to tire him out then hit him with unavoidable kirin. and please, as much as I love the hebi v deidara fight let's not exaggerate the hype because it was obvious that sasuke's abilities and affinity were a damn near kryptonite to deidara.
I found MS sasuke v danzo far more impressive because they both had equal counters to one another and it was a battle of endurance and perspectives of what "justice" really is. now compare to some clay terrorist whom simply wanted to kill sasuke because he was butthurt he couldn't touch itachi then blows himself up with no reward.... garbage. atleast when danzo killed himself he took shisui's eye with him as a middle finger to tobi and that he alone essentially made sasuke's eyes damn near unusable for future fights forcing him to take itachi's eyes (something sasuke never wanted to do)
He's got great ideas, but doesn't know when to reel it in. Both let their colors show when they had total creative control; Lucas during the Prequels, and Kishi during the War Arc.

Not Buying that simply because Sasuke still utilized variations of his abilities. By Mixing Enton and Raiton he was capable of amazing feats. What's stopping him from using the same tactic with his Senbon/ Chidori stream abilities?

This is another example of him using Enton has projectiles. What's stopping him from mixing both raiton and enton for his senbon technique when he has already canonically mixed them?
