Sora-ku was this abandoned village/hideout where the Uchiha clan stored munitions. First and last time it was shown was during the Itachi Pursuit arc when Hebi went to gather medicine and weapons.
Will Kishi brings this up in the manga again? If there is one place Taka could seek refuge, it could definitely be this place.
Grandma Nekobaa was aware that Sasuke wanted to murder Itachi. Karin notes that the air and ambiance is thin and unpleasing.
Out of the four inhabitants : Tamaki, Nekobaa, and the two cats Hina and Denka, we know that Tamaki is doing well with Kiba. So Kishi hasn't completely forgotten about this group.
