the ghosts can sense another ghost(if you consider me that) and are likely to attack. The evil ones almost killed me some years ago!
I still don't get this thing about how you can be killed if you're already dead
how do you know their evil? maybe they're just trying to defend the Asylum or ...I dunno. Just because they're a ghost that lingers doesn't mean they're evil...you should understand that, right? ^^

Killing, in the sense, your soul becomes completely destroyed and you become a particle of nature. We Shinigamis retain some of our memories as humans, our souls just transcend into Shinigami bodies and we're responsible for purifying evil spirits. I know they're evil because I, as a Shinigami can sense extreme emotions, emotions like love and hatred, and evil too. This ghost is stuck in this plane, because it was killed brutally and it's last rites were not conducted. It's an asylum, many 'patients' went through horrible procedures in an attempt to 'cure' them when really it was torture or just made them vegetables. It was horrendous and cruel, in many cases over the time this place was opened...they weren't even mad. Who wouldn't be angry?

Oh, I didn't consider that. Sometimes, I'm too lost in my work, that I stop thinking rationally.
