just for suck's fake, Sasuke activated Izanami right before Juubito grabs Sasuke and Naruto. He's actually going to delete Obito's past by trapping him. Izanami was designed to keep prideful Uchiha in line, and what better way to ***** his bro than by using the last jutsu Itachi taught him?

Bee was only in for a few seconds... (because he bonded with 8tails & woke him up)plus Bee had bijuu cloak activated..
without the bijuu cloak in any form.. they would be stuck in genjutsu...

Sasuke would be losing an eye if he used it.. although he has EMS... don't know if EMS changes the Izanagi curse or not..

Itachi explained it to Sasuke and Sasuke has his eyes... so he has also understood about Izanagi, but who knows if he can learn it on his own after encountering both of them.. he awakened Susano'o after Itachi's presentation of it..

I also saw that someone mentioned that you could copy Izanami by simply looking at it with a Sharingan. However a Sharingan cannot copy a bloodline limit jutsu.

that is true, but a sharingan is a bloodline limit in itself... i more or less was stating that since it was sasuke watching itachi (with itachi's eyes no less) it is foreseeable that Sasuke learned Izanami. Plus, someone else stated that Bee was caught in Genjutsu until Gyuuki snapped him out of it...

as for anyone worried about Sasuke losing an eye... well yes, he will be less attractive, but it's not like there isn't a seemingly endless supply of Sharingan's floating around somewhere. Obito and Madara both lost eyes and they got some back... it's not like losing sight in one eye is the end all for an Uchiha.

If the host is caught in a Genjutsu, the beast will wake the host up again, right away. Which is why Genjutsu doesn't work on a perfect jinchuriki.

Also if Sasuke uses Izanami, he'll lose one of his Enternal Mangekyou Sharingan, which he cannot replace.

You're right though, Sasuke could not copy Haku's ice mirrors, or Mei's lava style.

As for perfect jinchuuriki, Juubito is NOT a perfect jinchuuriki. he is being controlled by the Juubi, who doesn't even know who Obito is. plus, it's not even the complete Juubi seeing as it only has parts of Gyuuki and Kurama.

I'd like to add, that no, a sharingan cannot copy other distinctive doujutsus like Obito's Kamui or Shisui's Kotoamatsukami, but Izanami and Izanagi were created by the Uchiha clan as a way of keeping prideful Uchiha in check. Multiple Uchiha were able to use those techniques, and even Danzo was able to use it (Izanagi that is, with aide of Senju DNA). Juubito isn't a perfect Jinchuuriki, and I never stated that. However, the Juubi and Obito are constantly fighting over control and that means that Juubito is constantly changing minds. Which means that if you place one of them under a Genjutsu, the other will take over. The Juubi and Obito are also both are able to break out of Genjutsu easily, that means that most likely after one have been put under a Genjutsu and the other has taken over, the original will break free from the Genjutsu and they will continue to fight each other.

The Juubi wasn't originally perfect, however! After such a long time , it would have used the chakra parts of from Kurama and Gyuuki it had to copy and multiply it to reach the full of them. Much like a person refills chakra on their own, by copying their own chakra and multiply it.

Sasuke having Itachi eyes does not make a difference about this subject, Sasuke's eyes are a mix of his own and Itachis. They are NO longer Itachi's. How Itachi knew about the Izanagi and Izanami is unknown, Sasuke didn't know about either of them until he sees them in action. That means he didn't know Izanagi at the time with Danzo and he didn't learn it from Danzo either. Also, straight after the Danzo fight he went temp. blind from the eye implants. That means he couldn't have studied it either. He also went straight from bandages to fighting Kabuto so there is no time to learn Izanagi there. Then during that fight, Sasuke sees the Izanami, not knowing about it. After that fight he leaves for Konoha then for the battlefield. He had no time to learn either jutsu.

I gotcha, just a few things to add though... It's yet to be seen whether or not Obito can actually control the Juubi... my money is on NWIH, but stranger things have happened... That said, it's also a question if the Juubi can actually be put into a genjutsu. Itachi never really goes into the weakness of Izanami (other than losing an eye) and whether it can be broken or not, so I guess that's still up in the air. Another scenario is while Sasuke is temp. blinded after receiving Itachi's eyes, he is still under the watch of Obito, who does know about Izanagi at least and could have possibly relayed that information (obviously not Izanami tho)... and don't forget, when ET Itachi finally breaks Kabuto's ET and is descending, Itachi touches heads with Sasuke. I may be reading a little into that, hence the title being a theory, but seeing as it seems like most nin in the manga are able to transfer powers/chakra by merely bumping fists (tailed beasts, A and Bee etc.) and powers are able to be transferred through relatives (like Gaara receiving the gold dust from his dad) it is feasible that Itachi (who also gave Naruto some of his powers, though that was by stuffing a crow down his throat) transferred some of his knowledge to Sasuke, seeing as he states that he should have trusted him from the get go. Izanagi and Izanami sounds like jutsus that aren't learned, but passed down to trusted members of the Uchiha clan. That's probably why they were considered the police force of Konoha. Regardless, this has been a good argument for my first posted thread that hasn't been deleted right away for putting it in the wrong category, thanks for going back and forth with me on this one!
