Willow walked out of the bathroom in a pair of jeans and t-shirt. "Eniel?"(Will add more flashbacks later)
Eniel jerked up from his sleep, as if having a bad dream. Sweating slightly, he stretched, noticing Willow was gone.
He didn't worry too much, there wasn't a lot she could do in her current condition, anyway.
Walking to the porch overlooking Yari, he looked out onto the city below.
Peace. He might as well enjoy it while it lasted.
Eniel, not looking at her, merely gave a small grunt in acknowledgement.Willow walked out of the bathroom in a pair of jeans and t-shirt. "Eniel?"
Willow sighed, "Eniel, you can't ignore me."Eniel, not looking at her, merely gave a small grunt in acknowledgement.
"Be careful with that." She said, her voice full of concern."I'm not ignoring you." He said, maybe a little harshly.
He was twirling a small butterfly knife absentmindedly with dexterity, performing some simple tricks.
He continued to stare out to the horizon.
"Yeah. Sure...""Be careful with that." She said, her voice full of concern.
She tucks her wings tight against her back, trying to make them disappear. "Fine." She tilts her chin up slightly, looking him dead in the eye."Yeah. Sure..."
"How are your wings doing?" He asked, despite himself.
She shook her head. "No, why?" She cocked an eyebrow.Eniel looked at her passively.
"...something on your mind?" He asked, attempting to sound disinterested,
Heh. He reminded him of times past.
Willow falls on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. "We have to run more, don't we?" She looks at him."Alright then... You were looking at me, that's why." He said, shrugging slightly.
"... They wouldn't give up the chase this easily..." He mumbled to himself.
"Not really. I should be sufficient enough to defend us. Reinforcements should be getting us to safety within a couple of days."Willow falls on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. "We have to run more, don't we?" She looks at him.
Willow looked up at him. "I'm pretty good with a whip. Plus I slashed that lady's arm with that knife you gave me. I tend not to result in violence, though.""Not really. I should be sufficient enough to defend us. Reinforcements should be getting us to safety within a couple of days."
"As long as we lay low, we should be fine."
There was silence for a few moments.
Breaking the silence, Eniel spoke. "What can you do in terms of combat, Willow?"
