Why do you wish it would die?

The idea seems rather lame to me, as well as nonsensical. It's one of those few things you know will never happen, so when people theorize it happening, I just go "Why?"

Water devil fruit is possible. But Sea-water DF is not possible.
We have example of Aokiji. He can freeze the sea water but it also reduces his powers when he touches it. Similarly a water DF user can control the water part in the sea water but not the salt part of it. The user can turn his/her body into water but not in sea. He'll be a hammer.
