Do you try to say that the ancient Egypt wasn't already a shitty place? They had slaves too.

I'm sorry but where exactly does Christianity come into play here?

It doesn't, actually.
They were going to be made into slaves regardless of Christianity, Christianity doesn't really change much about the entire thing if you ask me.

Exactly. Slavery was around in various countries.

Throughout the middle ages in Europe there were three very wealthy regions of the eastern hemisphere.

1.China
2.Middle East
3.Africa

Africa had massive wealthy kingdoms that made the European accomplishments look relatively small in comparison.

Massive cities that were epic in scale, and held tremendous wealth.

The Europeans came in and conquered/colonized Africa and looted its wealth and destroyed the many kingdoms and the cities that were the jewels of their empires.

So yeah, Christianity was one tool of many the Europeans used to conquer Africa, South America, North America, India, Middle East and large swaths of Asia.

Also included were: disease, violence, capitalism, political gamesmanship, all of this topped off with industrialization.

The unspoken history of Africa is that Egypt was not the only grand Empire to arise from Africa, but one of dozens.

The Christianity comment in the original post is indicating a sort of distraction.

The Europeans gave Christianity with one hand and looted with the other.

So here we sit, waiting for five centuries of colonialism to right itself and finally die.

Ancient Egyptians were most probably Semitic and brown in color there is literally tenuous evidence that suggests they were black people.

Thank god for mcdonalds. If it weren't for them blacks would have never had the courage to speak up.

You see pro civil rights people gave the white man mcdonalds to distract the white man from the growing movement allowing the likes of Martin Luther King Jr, and other noteworthy names to help push the equality of all people. Thank god for McDonalds.

How about white people just took shit.

why do people always think its all about religion?

the only bad thing that religion taught us is what are sins.

the bulk of what religion teaches is NOT to commit them.

So why do we blame religion just because they say they do it for religion.

only a dum bass can actually believe that those sinners are religious.

Africans became slaves because they are the one of the least technologically advance when it came to arms race.

why do you think we call it, ethnicity, race?

because it is really not about our ethnicity but our nation and back then it so happens that our ethnicity dictated where we belonged/came from.

so they being overtaken by "missionaries," which btw are not true but rather by their king and his armies, is not because of religion.

it seems like that because most outsiders are traders or missionaries.
traders back then do not answer to their king and simply traded goods with them.

missionaries do. they document and they settle and establish a church. so obviously a king/emperor would have a reason to send troops under the premise of defending that church as it is their duty to serve the god and protect his house.

that's why most invasions are based on "religion" when it really is not.

He lost his wealth because Africa is VAST and they do not always have conflicts with other civilizations and if they do, it takes awhile for any real progress to happen.

Europe and Asia, they are much more smaller and the civilizations are so much closer to each other that whenever theres a conflict, they could react and march rather quickly

That's why Africa and East Asia are behind and would fall under "traditional" rather than modern

Dont get me started with Americas.

Vast, highly dense. they are secluded and most civilizations are under one banner whether it may because of conquest or simply settling from one place. Pacific Islands are surrounded with a lot of water. try crossing that with early age boats.

Africa was inferior through arms race. Same when it came to the Asians. Americas and Oceania were practically not even a challenge.

The only reason why Africa is treated the way they are is because the other 3 continents got decimated making Africa the easiest.

Some places in Asia was hard to get to and that's why European conquerors mostly invaded Africa.

So if you have any intelligence, that quote should mean nothing to you in regards to religion.

europeans looted africa, yes they did. But so what now? Putting it all on christianity is doesnt solve the problems Africa has. Europe colonised parts of america too, most countries on the american continent are better off than countries in africa, when one looks at this rather perspectively, Africa's situation has a lot to do than just the european factor.

we should have wiped you un-grateful boogers off the planet. Face it we were better than you.

You seriously believe you achieved these great accomplishments yet were bested by people who you claim couldn't make these advancements? So we did more with less and you still don't think we're better?

funny how everyone was wealthy until the white man stole it all right? Maybe you're just a ****ing racist

You and him are both f*cking racist... there is no better man than the other: civilisation destroys itself from within before it's conquered: China was brewing with wealth and got conquered by a miniscule Japan :|

There it is: Ethiopia, it was never conquered. So it depends on the civilisation itself
OTT: Yeah Musa is the richest ever, he is the only man in history to ever control the economy of the continent on his own. On his legendary Haji journey he gave gold around decreasing its value etc.

his brother asked for vessels and visited America. There are 2 theories
* He reached America
* It was never heard from him ever

I missed you buddy!

First of all, I just missed you!

Second of all, HashiraMadara's point has a bit more clarity behind it. I never gave the reason or timeline/history for the reasons that a lot of places succumbed to colonialism, just a super basic outline and some reasons that Europeans were successful. His post made a lot of sense.

Third, I just don't dig on imperialism, nothing to do with race.

Fourth, I missed you so so much.

Fifth, dude way to presume what I look like and where I'm from. I've probably done the same to you, so my bad.

Sixth, i didn't say everybody, just three parts of the world. I mean empires wax and wane wherever humans are. Europeans have just been the most powerful lately, but humans have been around a long long time, so it makes sense that groups would be at different levels of accomplishment at different times.

For Example: Thirty years ago we had a much large economy than China, and now we don't.

Seventh, the Europeans and their diaspora have added a lot of good things to the world, and a lot of bad things too. We gotta own em both.

I missed you buddy!!!
