Even after bringing himself so far intellectually Thanos is a complete nihilist through and through... After the execution of his lover's family, including his only son, he now only wishes for death to all, even himself! Though he feels that his demise will only come after he has created a change worthy of his legacy.

Thanos has had many names in the various places in which he lived,
however none fit him more suitably than the title given to him by the former Kage of Uzushiogakure.
It was in that village that he was given the name that has held most true to his nature,
" The Mad Titan! "

While still young Thanos was the student of the greatest Wing Chung, Akai Suna Yashi, and Kung no Yubi Ichi-hon masters alive. Because of the intensity of the training, they were very hard on him and beat him regularly. Upon finishing his training with these masters, they became aware of his true desires, and saw the black dark depths of his heart when they saw him use the very techniques they had taught him, to kill his landlords daughter! After the masters watched Thanos finish up raping her lifeless body, they had to act... So as soon as Thanos left, they got in on the action and gave her a go too. I mean come on! she was like ( ⓞ )( ⓞ ) baAMmm, and they were like O_O wowowweewow. Later that day the masters confronted Thanos and kicked the absolute crap outta him making him swear that he would never again use the techniques they'd taught him. Then they called the cops on his ass for raping that dead girl and stealing all of her panties. Stealing her panties? Whaaa? They were very disapproving of Thanos' nihilistic desires... that's why they accused him of that extra charge.

Thanos did a five year stint in the country pen, he would have been there longer but, got out early for good behavior. Well, it was more like killing everyone in his cell block, and most of the guards, and then broke the fu©k out! Kicking the guards in the faces, and chucking that ninja badger/raccoon summoning against the wall. Thanos fled into the forest to camp out for the night and regain his composure. After a rejuvenating nights sleep under the wide open sky, he headed right back to the prison. Where he proceeded to destroy it, killing everyone within a 3 mile radius, wiping its existence from history. Over the years Thanos has maintained his vow to never use the techniques taught to him by those masters -- for the most part.
After leaving the area, Thanos traveled the world seeking out the possibility of a purpose other than death, to no avail, it has remained his primary crusade. As he made his way from village to village spending nearly a decade at every new stop gathering as much information as his genius mind could absorb, in the end, death was always the short answer. That is until the day when an extremely noble shinobi entered Thanos' life.

His first major stay was in the village hidden in the stone Iwagakure. He had been training different forms of jutsus for decades, but his "formal" ninja training started here. After shrewdly befriending the first Tsuchikage as well as being several decades older and wiser than any of the academy students in this village he was personally taken on as a student by him. It was protested, of course, but what the Tsuchikage says, goes. With that Thanos was trained in the ninja arts in the highest caliber, and became extremely more dangerous, extremely quickly. Because of his past being shrouded in such secrecy the majority of the town's people didn't trust him, and with good reason. He is a killer! As time dragged on Thanos' friendship with the Tsuchikage became strained. Thanos wasn't truly a Iwagakure ninja, and with that he was excluded from many of the happenings in and around the village. It was during the first ninja world war that brought an end to Thanos' stay in Iwagakure. He was summoned to the Tsuchikage's office where he was told that he would not be allowed to fight for the village. Visibly upset about being denied being able to bring death to the masses. Thanos stormed off to the nearest whorehouse to kill and rape everyone inside. When the Tsuchikage appeared at his side. The Tsuchikage wanted to give Thanos a gift before he was to head to the battlefield, just in case he wasn't to return. The Korandamu tebukuro to sutōn no būtsu (Corundum Gloves & Boots of the Stone) were his gifts to him. Looking no different than normal ninja gloves and standard looking boots, except for the plate on the back of the hand and outer soles. They were made of blood-red, almost black corundum; the second hardest naturally occurring substance in existence; the Tsuchikage told him, and it has some very useful natural properties. First off it is one of the densest minerals known to mankind meaning it is not brittle like titanium, it resists heat like no other, save diamond, and it is a dielectric, meaning that it doesn’t conduct electricity, making it a perfect insulator. The Tsuchikage told Thanos that these gloves and boots will provide him with great protective power, and to use them wisely!
Thanos left Iwagakure shortly after, without killing or raping.

After leaving the Village Hidden in the Stone, Thanos traveled east to the Land of Lightning making a short stop in Takigakure in search of the Jiongu which he had heard so much about during his time in Iwagakure. Of course by the time he arrived Kakuzu had already stolen it and abandoned the village. When Thanos heard this news from a drunk at the village bar, without even a single jutsu he crushed the mans head in the palm of his hand. His rage was palpable and everyone fled his wrath. Word spread that the so called "Mad Giant" was headed towards Kumogakure, and even during the war, they prepared for his arrival and readied a plan to kill him. Thanos caught word of the plot while passing through Yugakure, so he took to a disguise. Using a simple yet affective child like version of himself, with a slightly different skin tone, he easily entered the village of Kumogakure.

Once he had established himself as a regular around town he began to look to the ninja for knowledge and techniques. With Henge no Jutsu so easy to maintain, he found himself a nice little nitch working at the jutsu library and training with the Jinchuriki of the Two Tailed Beast. Thanos was even selected as a possible number two to the future Nidaime Raikage, due to his seemingly unnatural power and abilities for his age. But with proper control he assured that he would not be put into that position, but left alone to study and train. Ever vigilant to his secrete identity Thanos monthly adapted his disguise so simulate aging. In the more than seven years he spent as a loyal ninja, he had grown very discontent with his position in this village, simply remaining an "elite-jounin" meant nothing in reality, and he needed to express himself through death. Having read all of the available information regarding the five Treasured Tools of the Sage of the Six Paths. Thanos devised a plan to acquire them from their sacramental holding area. He methodically had two earth element clones walk the streets on opposite sides of the village watching precisely the habits of the guards and other shinobi lookouts. Once every two months he would have one of his clones transform back into his original form and snatch up a unsuspecting victim, for that good old fresh kill and rape sensation. There began to circulate rumors that, the Silver and Gold Brothers (Kinkaku and Ginkaku) had gone mad after a chance encounter with the Kyubi, and they were in fact the ones doing the killings. No one had an answer for the post mortise rapes though... Upon this news reaching the Raikage, the two brothers were marked and their death warrants were signed. The Silver and Gold Brothers didn't take kindly to hearing the news that they were wanted dead, so on the night before Thanos had planned to steal the five treasures, the Kinkaku and Ginkaku broke in to the armory and stole four of the five treasures right off of the walls. Throwing the proverbial wrench into Thanos' plan. Upon the brother's fleeing the village Thanos knew that he wouldn't be able to continue pulling off his bimonthly rampages. Still desiring one last go, Thanos emerges from the ground into the center of the town, proceeded to lay waste to the wealthiest of the Kumogakure citizens. dispatching all but a few dozen cracka-azz crakas!

Thanos left Kumogakure with a flurry, having not made bonds as strong as the one formed with the First Tsuchikage, he has no reason to stick around and no real friends to say good bye to. Fleeing was easy enough. Once again assuming the form of his alter ego "the young black Kumo-elite-jounin" easily slipped away from his assignment at the edge of the village ironically patrolling the area for himself. He laughed all the way to the Land of Water.

When Thanos first arrived in The Land of Water, he did so with a splash! Having released his henge no jutsu at just before the border, he mercilessly pounded his way to the Village Hidden in the Mist. Stirring up quite a comotion in his wake he caught the eye of several notable shinobi. One such notable ninja was the daughter of the third Mizukage named Lordis, named after the families fat Honduran nanny, she simply went by the name Bakari, because she felt it represented her desires. Bakari was the first person to encounter Thanos on his way into the village. Strangely enough there didn't seem to be any guards at their posts. Upon recognizing the very familiar sent of blood in the air she launched an attack that left her dangling by her ankle from Thanos' massive hand. In fact they had traveled one third of the way to the town center before she had even noticed that her attack had failed. Upon this realization she also noticed that her tiny little skank-status ninja skirt was draped over her stomach and Thanos' wild eyes were examining the soon to be violated girls every detail. When a spike shot out of somewhere things of this nature should not come out of... Thanos used the gloves he'd received to quickly deflect the gruesomely scary attack just in time. In doing so he noted that, that was no ordinary spike, it was made from bone! This was no simple kunoichi, in all of his decades traveling he'd never seen such an ability. At the instant he deflected the spike, he released his grip on Bakari. She slightly embarrassed because no man had ever seen underneath her skirt before, wasn't sure if she should continue the fight or discuss what had just happened. Both deciding not to continue the fight, Thanos' fearless and deadly presence put Bakari into a lust filled trance. She became an advocate for Thanos' desires, even suggesting that he be her personal "bodyguard." With her strong influence over the Mizukage Thanos was granted access to the most classified of Kirigakure jutsus, and supplying him with ample opportunities to kill, made his stay in this village one of his most cherished.

Twelve years after his arrival in Kirigakure, Thanos undertook his last mission with them. After this night ninja from this village shall only be looked at as enemies. Thanos was handed an assignment to head to the neighboring land with a predetermined killing squad and eliminate the villages inhabitants. Once the squad reached the village Thanos could tell right away that these Uzumaki of the Whirlpool didn't seem to be the threat the orders he was handed were claiming they were.

Without warning the sky opened up above the killing squad the ground disappeared from underneath. All of them were trapped. Thanos being completely chained to the floor. From what Thanos could see a handful of Uzushiogakure ninja entered the chamber and began to release the Kirigakure ninja from their bonds. He overheard one of his teammates tell the leader of the Uzushiogakure ninja how their initial plans had gone without incident, and the Mizukage and his entire family, gesturing at Thanos, and saying again his entire family, indicating the child that Bakari had just bore which Thanos himself had fathered, had been killed much easier than they had hoped. Hearing this news sent Thanos into a new never before seen level of rage. His blood began to boil. Thanos began to crack his chains that held him and he burst out of his prison with such a frightening killing intent that several of the killing squad shinobi actually fled for their lives. Those that didn't wouldn't live long enough to regret being scared stiff. The first thing he did was smashing the ninja that had leaked the information. Thinking as he did so; How could he have done this... he was Bakari's oldest friend? Thanos walked through the door of the building where he'd been held and into the street; covered with the blood, a small katana sticking from the back of his right tricep, and his left hand still gripping a handful of dust that once was the prison he was trapped. He left the village never to return without so much as a word, but the stories told by the Uzushikage and his description of this towering mass of rage and power, he called "The Mad Titan" have survived long past even the walls of Uzushiogakure.

Though it wasn't the longest amount of time he'd spent in a village, it seemed to leave the biggest impression on him thus far in his travels. Without so much as stopping he made his way back to The Land of Water, to see if what he had seen was true. No need to even enter the Kirigakure there were signs in every small town on the way; those with the special blood that afforded them extraordinary abilities, were being rounded up and slaughtered! Knowing full well what to expect when he would have gotten there, Thanos abandoned his quest back to Kirigakure to seek revenge on such a small scale. He set his sights once again on the big picture. He would have to continue training for the day in which he would be called upon to force the change that this world required. He knew there was only one place left for him to travel in an attempt to discern the difference between a life worth living and a life worth annihilating.

Walking with the presence of a man conflicted by the fate of the world, Thanos wandered for several years through the Land of Fire looking for the right way to approach the man who set in motion the great system of nations, Hashirama Senju. Even though Thanos knew he had passed many years ago, he still thought he might be able to gain some insight from him. When He reached a decision on how to find the answers he was looking for, he made his way to Konohagakure. When he arrived, there was little fuss. The Second Shinobi World War had come and gone. He was greeted at the village gates by none other than the Hokage himself. Hiruzen Sarutobi the Sandaime Hokage of Konohagakure; he was a man wise well beyond his years and always looked for the light even in the darkest of hearts. Still a young man he had already been the Hokage for somewhere around eighteen years. This man that had personally known Hashirama, and passed on his personal beliefs and teachings would be the one to help Thanos reach the path that he had been searching for all these decades. Seeing the turmoil in Thanos' heart, Hiruzen invited him to have tea and discuss life, in order to learn about him and help him gain insight towards the much sought after meaning for his existence. For years Thanos and Hiruzen would talk about life and the reasons to enjoy it. Thanos told Hiruzen everything about his past, how he used to act, with all of that hate, anger, and desire to hurt others, that used to fill his heart. He told him how his lover Bakari bore him a son and how it made him feel that he would never get to see him as a grown man. Hiruzen offered no excuse for the actions that Kirigakure had taken against those he cared for. He expressed his concerns towards how two of the most powerful Dojutsu possessing clans were closing themselves off from the rest of the community, unwilling to accept the fact that they are in fact descendants from the same clan if you look far enough back. And how he thought that their actions prohibiting the young ones whose love doesn't always follow their ideals of separation, was only driving a division further between them all. The two men became good friends over time and jokingly Thanos would often say going to confession in reference to his long personal talks with Hiruzen. When the time came to choose the next Hokage, Hiruzen's counsel narrowed the selection down to five very strong shinobi: Haishi Hyuuga, Sakumo Hatake, Orochimaru & Jiraiya of the three sannin, and Minato Namikaze the youngest ever nominated for the position. Upon Jiraiya's request he was withdrawn from the positions contention and he put his faith in Minato. Hiruzen was conflicted because he loved Orochimaru but felt that he would not lead the village down the right path. Thanos his now dear friend offered the advice to no longer consider Orochimaru, Thanos was well aware of the type of person he was becoming more and more everyday. Sakumo had slumped into a deep depression and took his own life, and Haishi upon hearing that Minato was one of the posibile choices for Hokage, and knowing him personally, informed the elders that he supported Minato as his choice. With the events unfolding as they were Minato was deemed Hokage. Thanos was one of the first to congratulate him when given the news. Over the many years he has spent in Konohagakure since then, and with the help of some very good friends; Thanos was finally able to reach his goals in finding the path that was meant for him.

Thanks, I found four of them about two years ago and made the rest myself, nothing too extravagant.

I have been an avid Thanos fan for longer than most NB members have been alive lol. The very first comic I ever read was Iron Man #55, one of my older sister's boyfriends let me check it out, I was like 7, and I was hooked!
