He may be an edo but the Amaterasu flames didn't kill him, they just burnt him till he used Shinra Tensei.

Thread is doing just fine.

If he didn't use Shinra Tensei he would have beeen burned alive. No one can take any of these moves head on and live. Thats why they're 1 hit kills

Ok...but, he took Amaterasu and he then managed to get rid of the flames. Which means it hit,it failed,he lived. It is not a one hit wonder in my eyes.

Yeah, if he hadn't he'd have died..but he did. If it had been Dust release, he wouldn't have had the chance,he'd be made into nothing.

All of those can kill someone, Lariat probably can't however, unless it's a full powered one.

Kirin is underrated, it only failed to kill Itachi because Susano'o was activated, he said it himself "If it weren't for this, I would've died" or something like that.

Also, he mortally wounded Sasuke with that technique and if it hadn't been for someone saving him, he would have died from it. That one-hit could have ended him...jus sayin

He's saying what jutsu are instantaneous kills and lariat isn't one. Would Sasuke have died without help from Juugo? Yes, but he wouldn't of died instantly.

A one-hit wonder is something that kills the person in 1 hit. I think so long as it doesn't take some huge amount of time for them to die(as in, if they're on their own, they won't be able to get help/retreat), it can be considered.

You misunderstand what the op was talking about. He was saying which jutsu would kill somebody right away and a lariat isn't going to do that as shown with Sasuke. When Bee used it on A it didn't even hurt him.

Rasenshuriken, dust release, Nagato's soul ripping jutsu(not sure what it's called) are a few that actually kill its targets right away.
