I dont know if this is asked before, but i was wondering something about the uchihas. Like you know how you need your siblings eyes in order to gain EMS, could you just trade with your brother/sister? That way nobody goes blind. Like how madara took his brother's eyes, what did he do with his original? Shouldnt he of gave it to his brother so they both have EMS? i like your thoughts on this please!

sasuke uses amaterasu in his left eye. itachi uses it in his right but uses tskuyomi in his left eye. so it can go either way, i guess.

Wait why would you only have 1 ems? like dont you just take out your own eyes and put in your siblings?

Great point! I asked the same thing once. Itachi said that the clan sacrificed a lot in the pursuit of replicating Madara's EMS. That seems stupid when you consider that Uchiha siblings could have just swapped both pairs of eyes. And if it doesn't work then they could just swap back again.

Edit: Sasuke implanted Itachi's eyes. What happened to Sasuke's original eyes. Now imagine if Itachi were still alive...and imagine that Sasuke activated his MS in a different way. Now imagine if Itachi implanted Sasuke's eyes. Would Itachi also activate EMS?

Because you need 4 MS eyes to complete the set. You can't just trade and try to loophole the system. Look back when Itachi explains it to Sasuke, you need 4 eyes. If they traded eyes they would still be blind because all they did was swap blind eyes.

Eh Susanoo requires both eyes. Only 2 Uchiha have Amatersasu, and only one was able to manipulate it. Itachi used his right, Sasuke used his left. Sasuke's skill in Amaterasu came where his Tsukuyomi lacked. Vice versa in Itachi's case.

i made this question also. apparently madara didn't do it because he was already blind by the time he took izuna's eyes, ie izuna implanting madaras eyes would be no use as they have completely lost their light

I've always wondered about this.But first you need both of the siblings to possess the MS ,which is very rare.Then you can't be too blind, regardless of MS, otherwise Izuna wouldn't have died.

The eyes you take are "placed" on top of your current ones, you put their MS eye on top of yours, that is why the EMS has the pattern of the 2 MS patterns combined, so no, you can't take out your eyes and give them to your brother and the other way around.
You could probably (don't know for sure) exchange 1 eye, so that both of you have 1 EMS eye, but i doubt that would be really useful.
So no, it doesn't work like this.

here you can see the demon like figure that has 4 eyes, 2 that are your own and 2 that are the new ones, so Madara and Sasuke will still have their own eyes, combined with the new ones, hence the change of the pattern.

1) Dead/blind eyes are useless, unless you like spooky accessories.
2) They’re kept on standby incase the sudden need for Izanagi occurs.
3) Izuna took madara’s eyes, faked his own death, and then archieved ems without anybody knowing-meaning Itachi could do the same with Sasuke’s eyes. Lol, it’s probably the least likely scenario ever.

Nice observation regarding amaterasu,I have a feeling all of his techs will get a significant boost.

Another question.Why in the blue hell did izuna run around blind when he could simply transplant a regular sharingan in his eyes?

This is what i was referring to when i said on top of each other, you don't really put them on top of your eyes, they wouldn't fit... it's more complicated to explain and the process is not very good explained, but that demon like thingy that has 4 eyes, 2 that are your own, and 2 that are the ones you take to regain your light.

The demon thing is probably more symbolic than anything. It probably is an eye fusion(some sort of chemical reaction), and instead of needing both eyes the body simply reacts to the new set of eyes by mixing the new with the old.

Btw, could the new doujutsu they speak off in your link be the rinnegan? I always assumed it was a 4th jutsu,but a new doujutsu is something entirely different.

There must have been a long organ transplant waiting list...

I'm starting to doubt Tobi's details on Izuna. I just discovered that the databooks are most probably fallible. Which makes me doubt the Databook's opinion on Izuna's ultimate fate as well.
