He was known by tobi that he was a spy but it was a behind close doors agreement in exchange he does all of tobi's dirty work in akatsuki. Taking on all of akatsuki though is most likely not going to happen.

Not against that many Akatsuki. Yata isn't 360 degrees. Question though. Could Itachi be disarmed with Almighty Pull?
