[Theory] A simple FT theory

I recently went back watching all the FT anime episodes, and after reading the manga i came across a theory. This is my first theory and it might be silly but i'll still mention it:

If you recall during the Tenrou Island Arc Zeref shows up and confronts Natsu. Natsu not knowing who he is but Zeref knows him. After a short fight Zeref is disappointed that Natsu couldn't beat him. after this the story continues until present manga time. and during the current arc there is a way to go back in time through Eclipse. Also currently Natsu and Lucy are where Eclipse is and the big disaster is about to happen.

So my theory is that after seeing the destruction the dragons are causing both Natsu and Lucy decide to go back in time though Eclipse and stop Zeref and all his evil doings. When they get there and after a while they confront the Zeref of the past and fight him. After they fight i think Zeref will win easily against Natsu. But somewhere along the line Zeref losing his memories and goes in the "sleeping state" as he was in the Tenrou Island Arc. After, both Natsu and Lucy go back to their time, but before they do that Natsu shouts to Zeref that some time in the Future he will beat Zeref and they disappear. After hearing this Zeref waits for the day that he will confront Natsu again and fight him. Thus when he sees him in the Island Arc he knows Natsu and is disappointed when Natsu couldn't beat him.

So that's my first theory and although it's a bit out their I think that this could happen.

I wouldn't mind this happening. I agree that somehow Zeref has to know Natsu. I also think Mavis is somehow connected to Zeref

FT means Fairy Tail. Maybe Mavis and Zeref are like the same person just split into a good and bad person, like Kami and Piccolo

Yea this would be good to happen as it would be awesome to see Zeref in his prime.

And with the Mavis showing up it is shown in the OVA Fairies' Training Camp. But i'm sure that there will be more explanations as to how and why she is there.

After what happened during the last few chapters I doubt this theory is even possible now. But i would have been amazing if this happened.
