Dont cover the focal, if u want to blend it, just blend it in the corners.
If i would never see the original stock, i wouldnt understand that this is GOW.
Make the text smaller n add a clipping mask.

I didn't really know how to do text so yeah..

kind of basic. theres a couple of things here that you should not do. first, the lot opacity stuff makes it look bat. leave it at 100% opacity, and change blend modes if you hae to.

the focal is kind of distracted. theres too much going on around it. it looks messy.

also, the lighting is not good. use burn/dodge tools to fix that. And kill the text. it looks bad
