Yall remember when Itachi put a dormant genjutsu on his teammates the very first moment he met them and it would only activate if they ever decided to turn against him.

Them trying to use a genjutsu on him activated the genjutsu he placed on them from the beginning which tricked them into thinking they were killing itachi but really they killed each other.

Itachi profiency with genjutsu is insane. Rinne Itachi would be op

Unless it was his own Rinnegan. As Obito stayed having just one Rinnegan eye was enough to push him to the brink of madness trying to control its

If Itachi did manage to control it however, he’d be completely broken.

Of course, like I said before, if any Uchiha were written to have hid behind genjutsu as Itachi had, they’d all be equal and/or greater than him. So naturally, Itachi would hide behind genjutsu if he had a Rinnegan.

Let's see this guy bring out the Ninjutsu Talent and Skill of the sage of the six paths. Then you can talk. Nothing Itachi's done comes even close to Sasuke: Strategy, Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu, etc. Itachi's vastly inferior on all accounts. I wonder when this fanon-version of Itachi (who's so fucking awesome) would be finally put inside the grave like his character. Any day now.

The only thing Sasuke was better at is ninjutsu and had stronger chakra. Everything else Itachi bested Sasuke. With every upgrade Sasuke had his chakra pool got bigger and stronger. Same with Madara. If Itachi had his own rinnegan his body would adjust with the rinnegan power....Itachi would be the best rinnegan user

In which department was Itachi better? Let's hear some facts.

Genjutsu Taijutsu Kenjutsu. Rest, Sasuke is superior.
How? What are Itachi's Kenjutsu feats? Itachi's Genjutsu's kinda useless against Sasuke, so I don't see a point. Taijutsu? What are his feats?

Stragetgy? Itachi's strategies are borderline abysmal once compared to Sasuke's.

Stragetgy? Itachi's strategies are borderline abysmal once compared to Sasuke's.
Kenjutsu-wise, he was parrying DSM Kabuto , and momentarily outmatched him here . + in his ANBU Days, he’s seen wielding a sword as his primary choice of weapon. He also parries Killer B’s blades’ with a kunai same guy who manhandled, and outmaneuvered Taka (tho Sasuke was undeniably physically weakened.)

Strategy-wise he deciphered CT’s Weakness upon moments of meeting it. He was praised by Kakashi, and acknowledged for his battle intelligence, and brilliance, here .

In terms of planning, (a part of strategical thinking.) he’s prolly one of the best. Planned the first 16 years, of Sasuke’s life and foretold his approach to Orochimaru’s Lair in seek of power, and to grow stronger. + he fooled the Akatsuki by going after Naruto , while simultaneously, leaking info regarding them, to the Hidden Leaf. Planned thier fight flawlessly from start to finish, without missing a detail. Even the Sword Stab, aided by Chidori- extension wires, was a part of his plan, as implied by the DB here .

Genjutsu-wise, he must possess some of the greatest hype in the entire face of the manga. The brain of an alliance consisting of 80,000 fighter shinobi, Shikaku, claims he’s the only one out of his vast years of experience, to perpetually control the minds - remotely - of experienced exceptional shinobi - including the ones wielding doujutsu.

Misconception, doujutsu users can be put under a genjutsu. Karin is a witness to that . + Tobi kinda implied that he couldn’t see through any of Itachi’s illusions, here .

Tsukuyomi’s true power, .

Captured Orochimaru; who thought he was factually immune, to Paralysis genjutsu .

Hatake Kakashi, who possesses the Sharingan, further admits that he could’ve killed him if he, so desired to .

H2H/CQC/Taijutsu-Wise, he was casually blocking KCM-Enhanced strikes from KCM Naruto , mean-while, simultaneously dodging Samehada Slash Killer Bee. Crossing a considerable amount of distance post evasion should be noteworthy .

Kabuto didn't realize that he had a horn there. He outright states that. Itachi never engaged in a Kenjutsu battle against Bee:

Sasuke, on the other hand, pinned Kabuto's tail (when he dodged his susnaoo arrow earlier) and managed to outspeed Bee's strikes:

Sasuke Versus Bee (full post):

Sasuke's Kenjutsu (some examples):

Mifune’s famous for his “Quick Draw”, which people aren’t able to block. It’s so quick that Mifune defeated Hanzo's summon with his quick draw; something he couldn't do with Sasuke, who charged Raiton first, and deflected Mifune’s draw later:

Sasuke dispatching well over a thousand Jounins and Chunins without dropping a single drop of blood:

Figuring out that something's pulling something isn't really a huge deal. It's like jumping from the second floor, breaking your leg on impact, and figuring out that something pulls us down. It's the most abysmal feat from Itachi.

Also, at a mere age of 12, Sasuke trapped Orochimaru (a rare prodigy) with Shuriken-Jutsu wires and a strategy that hasn’t been replicated by Itachi (or anyone in any manner):

Sasuke Versus Haku:

He figured out the entirety of Haku’s technique and forced out his Sharingan that led Haku to comment that he was a prodigy; that and it also compelled Haku to use Naruto as bait to end the match (whom he was protecting, too, as both Haku and him confirm) as he was low on chakra and wouldn’t be able to face Sasuke anymore:

Sasuke Versus Deidara:

Deidara was one of Akatsuki’s strongest members. He single handedly captured a Bijuu, after all:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

Sasuke was ten steps ahead of Deidara who used C1, C2, C4, and C0 on Sasuke and failed every single time. The best part of it was how Sasuke incorporated Genjutsu-tricks into his strategy to defeat Deidara.

Sasuke had figured out Deidara’s abilities from the start:

He also used Raiton upon himself in such a hairy life-and-dead situation:
You must be registered for see images

First, he made him see that he got disintegrated: Sasuke saw the effects of the Clay-bomb (C-4 Karura) and used that against Deidara:

Deidara states that he won’t fall for the same trick, but Sasuke’s clever enough to trap him in it again!

When Deidara blows himself up, Sasuke’s smart enough to summon Manda, put him under Genjutsu, get inside his mouth (to make him take the impact of the blast), and Reverse summon him. That’s a fantastic strategy, given that he was literally out-speeding a bomb’s shockwave; therefore, unlike anyone else, he had no time to think!

Deidara is far from stupid, he defeated Gaara in the desert (where he is the strongest as he has so much sand to manipulate):
You must be registered for see images
He had no intel on his Gourd abilities and he analyzed them on the battlefield in a second or two and defeated Gaara by merging his clay and chakra with Gaara’s gourd sand at the cost of his arm:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images
See what happened there? The arm crushing happens right at the start of the battle, which means he merges the chakra with the gourd sand at the start of the battle (I will get to this point later). This is the C3 bird he threw down at the village (the only numbered clay explosive he used in the battle, and it wasn’t even used on Gaara, but on the village to make Gaara lose chakra and make him use that Gourd sand; he never used C1, C2, C4 and C0 on Gaara, which he did on Sasuke and he dodged them on foot).

Gaara lost his chakra and he ends up defending himself with the gourd sand against a homing bird, finally ending the battle: here is where he tells us when he mixed his clay with his gourd sand:

This is the enemy Sasuke was ten steps ahead of when he had no intention of killing him as he wanted Intel on Itachi.

Sasuke Versus Itachi:

Itachi didn’t see the Shuriken trick. Him dodging it or not is irrelevant: the point is that he was fooled:

He fooled Itachi again through the Katon trick by forcing him out into the open for Kirin:

He also made very effective use of Genjutsu against him as well, consistently casts Genjutsu on Itachi (Zetsu comments that they were just casting Genjutsu own each other):

Sasuke Vs Danzo:

He figured out Izanagi at the onset of battle; just from a single gesture of Danzo checking his eye, which is why he went at him hard and fast. This is something Obito realized quite later on. And the way he confirmed it from Danzo was so clever:
You must be registered for see images
Sasuke had figured out right from the start that good, hard attacks would end the fight as it was a matter of lasting long in battle:
You must be registered for see images
He fooled Danzo at the end through a simple Genjutsu; something which he tested before by using the image of Itachi:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images
Even Itachi was surprised that Sasuke survived the encounter, when he hardly knew that Sasuke defeated Izanagi about a dozen times:
You must be registered for see images
The way he countered Baku within the battle was brilliant, whilst he battled Danzo, as well, which means he was battling two things at the same time (Obito called the strategy clever):
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

And don’t counter this with “he couldn’t use KA” logic, when he abused Uchiha and Senju Jutsus, along with exhaustion of the entirety of his arsenal (every Futon-tech and Summoning tech). Heck, what would KA have done? Mifune broke it out of mere interruption, when in the hand of an Uchiha (Itachi), a command was literally rewritten, which Kabuto tried throughout the entirety of the battle to rewrite, by rewriting the Fuda in Itachi’s head :

During the battle, he performed brilliant counter against Baku’s suction, as well, besting another strategy from Danzo:

Sasuke and Itachi Vs Kabuto:

Itachi would have never been able to defeat Kabuto, if it wasn’t for Sasuke’s clever thinking and strategies:
You must be registered for see images
Notice how Sasuke is the first one to notice that the snakes were getting bigger. Not Itachi!
He’s he not only used Amaterasu as defense to save Itachi, but also as an offense to negate the technique: two birds with one stone!
You must be registered for see images
It’s Sasuke again to tells Itachi how to cut and why, not Itachi!
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images
It’s Sasuke again, who rescues Itachi repeatedly so that he can complete Izanami:

Sasuke Versus Madara—analysis of Limbo:

He analyzed Madara’s Limbo and came up with a complete strategy there and then:

You must be registered for see images

Sasuke figuring out Obito’s ability in a single encounter:

Sasuke’s literally the only person to figure out (in the shortest time!) the fact that you “phase through” Obito, and that he doesn’t “disappear” or isn’t a “Genjutsu” (the second image’s a “call-back” to what he had thought of the first time!):

Fuinjutsu Counter:

Sasuke also perfectly created a Fuinjutsu counter for the Cursed Seal to draw Orochimaru out: he recalled Kakashi using Fuinjutsu to trap the seal; and he created his own with ease without any knowledge on Fuinjutsu:

I can post more about Sasuke mastering literally EVERYTHING to PERFECTION that was thrown at him, along with his INVENTION of JUTSUS, but these would do.

Itachi's Planning:

Itachi never planned for anything to be a success. That was all Sasuke.

Orochimaru: Itachi did squat to safeguard Sasuke. It was Sasuke who figured out his weakness and turned his world against him in Genjutsu. Itachi had nothing to do with that:

Sasuke used Orochimaru’s own ability against him (he turned his entire world against him). Kishimoto calls him a “vessel that’s too flawless”; that and he absorbs and uses the White Snake abilities perfectly, without any training whatsoever:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

He thought he killed him permanently, but he failed there, as well.

Deidara: Itachi did nothing to stop Deidara. Sasuke survived through his own skill.

Obito: He planted an Amaterasu in Sasuke's eye, but failed miserably.

So EVERYTHING he planned, he failed at it. SPECTACULARLY!

Sasuke's Planning:

Infiltration Feat:
Let’s compare Yamato’s infiltration to Sasuke’s. Yamato’s is very, very simplistic. He says that it’ll first be him, then Sakura, and Naruto last, and that he’ll approach from the underground using earth-style (takes no accounts of traps or anything of the sort):
You must be registered for see images
He makes a small fissure and proceeds inside:
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images
Then Sai manages to catch Kabuto and he reveals that the place’s like a labyrinth and is filled with deathly traps, and one wrong move would result in death:
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images
After listening to this, this is Yamato’s plan: split into two teams, and if anyone, who isn’t with him, gets into trouble, just alert them through his “Tree Seed.” What about the traps, Sensing them, and proceeding with care? **** that shit!
You must be registered for see images
Compared to this Sasuke’s infiltration was rather brilliant! First, he used Suigetsu’s ability to check the defenses of the summit (they had been fortified); two, he used Jūgo’s abilities to scout out the routine of the thinnest guard to the summit:
You must be registered for see images
Three, when he ascertained the route, he told Karin to keep a lock on the chakra positions of the look-outs, and he also took Zetsu with him to identify Danzo:
You must be registered for see images
Four, then he decided to infiltrate the summit, and tail Danzo out of the summit, or after he left:
You must be registered for see images
Finally, once inside, he looked at Danzo’s face to pint-point him:
You must be registered for see images
Sasuke’s infiltration was so perfect that all of the Sensors (including Danzo’s lackey, Fuu) had no clue when Sasuke had entered the summit or where he was (they ascertained that through the commotion and disappearing chakra). Had Zetsu had betrayed him, his plan would’ve gone perfectly:
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images
Taking out Orochimaru:
Sasuke was extremely clever and shrewd in physically taking on Orochimaru by studying him and bidding his time:
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images
People don’t give enough credit to the fact that how impish and clever Sasuke is as he had put on an act and deceived Orochimaru. What are Shikamaru’s feats in this regard? None.
The Immortality Jutsu uses a universe inside of Orochimaru:
You must be registered for see images
And Sasuke didn’t know that this ritual had nothing to do with Orochimaru’s physical strength. In fact, they knew Sasuke wouldn’t go down without a fuss, which is why the ‘poison’ was there as a failsafe plan:
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images
And despite all that, Sasuke had turned his entire dimension against it (he completed eroded it), which resulted in him being absorbed:
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

Let's look at some other planning:

He wanted to defeat Naruto and gain power from Orochimaru? He succeeded.
He wanted to kill Danzo? He succeeded.
He wanted to defeat Deidara and acquire information? He succeeded.
He wanted to contribute to the assimilation of Bijuu? He succeeded.
He wanted to resurrect Orochimaru? He succeeded.
He wanted to resurrect the Kages to defeat Madara? He succeeded.
He used Akatsuki and Obito to start a conflict and went about his merry way? Succeeded.

I can post more, but Sasuke's success rate's the highest in the manga.

Genjutsu:

There's nothing special about casting Genjutsu. It doesn't require any intelligence whatsoever. Using it for tricks is how Sasuke utilized it (as I showed through multiple scans). Itachi never did, which makes his use just that, a use. Don't know what Tsukuyomi's power's got anything to do with this.

Already posted counters for rest of them, as well. Kenjutsu-wise, Sasuke's way, way above Itachi's level that it isn't even funny.
