A review of Chunin exam arc

Rewatched the chunin exam arc ,boy it was good.But here are some things I found interesting from the arc that I didnt noticed before.
1)Neji was quite contradictory.I mean Neji talked all crap about how destiny decides everything and how a failure is always a failure,its weird that he completely missed Lee.He knew about Lee's power and his inabilities.He knew Lee was a loser when he entered academy and his present powers.He didnt knew about gates but when Lee went to help Sakura and co and didnt return to them in time,he was confident in Lee's ability.Yet he talked of how none can change and once a failure always a failure.
2)Byagukan was potrayed stronger than sharingan.Kakashi said that during Neji vs Hinata, and I do agree.Its not powerful than sharingan but it was really dangerous.Of course barring the upgrades of sharingan.Also it said that sharingan was derived from byakugan, so kudos to the author for foreshadowing that early.
3)Neji vs gaara and Sauke vs Neji.Both the battles would have been so interesting to watch.They were also hyped,specially Neji vs Sasuke given they had a little exchange during form fill up day.I wished they fight at some point in the story.
4)Kakashi was so arrogant.i didnt noticed this before but he was so arrogant back then.I know he was one of the stronger characters during part 1 but seriously some of his dialogues got under my skin.An example is when Naruto warns Kakashi about gaara, he is like shut up and watch.And episode after we saw how Naruto was right.Current Kakashi is confident like Itachi and Minato, but not an arrogant prick.Made me almost hate him.
5)Finally, Temari was drawn more mature than other girl characters.Was she older?She was Gaara's olders sister so I figure she was 14-15.Also I saw a temari panty shot>_>.Coudnt believe studio pierrot did that given the fanservice in naruto is minimal.

The point of Neji is that he doesn't actually believe what he's saying; he just says it because he's bitter. That's what Naruto basically tells him. It's the point of his arc.

CE Neji's skill with Byakugan > CE Sasuke's skill with Sharingan. He's had it for longer and there are less downsides to using the Byakugan. That's why it seems stronger. All of Neji's techniques are oriented around using the Byakugan; Sasuke's techniques have only just begun to use the Sharingan; also, his Sharingan in CE hasn't fully matured.

The point of Neji is that he doesn't actually believe what he's saying; he just says it because he's bitter. That's what Naruto basically tells him. It's the point of his arc.

Yes, it seems he was so bitter that he started contadicting himself

1)I dont know about other but I thout 5th gate lee would have defeated Neji,Gaara would have defeated Neji too.

2)I agree, but I wished byakugan was more developed.It was really a great concept.

4)He was confident in his own technique.And he was wrong, and there were many more moments where he was too confident like against Zabuza too.

5)It was agianst shikamaru.It wasnt a proper panty shot,but the linings of her black panty was clear under her skirt.She also wore some kind of transparent pants over her panty.Not that it bothered me since I actually thougt she was 13 which she was not and its common in japan
